Very tough game. Not big on guarantees. I'd figure Indy to get it done at home, but the line is pretty tight. If I can get Indy -3 I may go that way small. At 4 I just wouldn't touch it.

A few numbers to add to the mix.

(slanted in Indy's favor, but still just the facts)

Pacers are 9-2 (6-3-2 ATS) last 11 home playoff games dating back three seasons. They won game one of this series, 78-74, despite shooting just 33% from the field.

Detroit, which shot 41%, has now lost nine consecutive East Finals games. The Pistons are 5-13 (7-11 ATS) last 18 road playoff games dating back three seasons.

Indiana "at home" is 3-0 over Detroit this season, winning by 4, by 12, and by 5 points.

I think you have to strongly consider the Pistons in a good spot here.

I played them +2.5 1st half. The zig-zag should be stronger earlier.

Hey VSP, Pistons came together with the addition of Sheed. That game #1 was Pistons first in Pacers, with Sheed. They also shutdown Pacers last game with sheed in Motown, season low I think. Matchups favor Pistons, bounce, equal rest, more experienced coach, especially at this level. Again, coach Brown was not here for that losing streak, it was Carlisle. Pistons look like better all around team to me. Taking points without hesitation...OF

They have been unlucky last 11 out of 13 days, and last 6 days straight. Has something changed? This should be good...OF

Your probably right JF. Just feeding the books on lousy Motown and coach Brown as a dog. Maybe if there are a lot more stupid people like me I can shoot back a 3 against that 4 1/2.

OF, First off I like Rasheed Wallace, mainly because of his highly competitive nature. As you know, Wallace is slowed by a nagging foot injury. In game one he scored 4 points on 1 of 7 shooting. His volatile nature may just work in my favor tonight. The fans will be on him wire to wire. If things go bad early off this guarantee, a frustrated Wallace rates an even shot to blow up, and get t'd out, hurting his team in the process. Only time will tell. Have a great day! (not night)

PS: Really hate to be on the same side as the guy already counting his money. Oh well, such is life.

Dang G, Detroit is no pushover. They figure to bring it bigtime. But since you're a homer, you get a pass on this one. Best of luck. Hope your Pacers do you proud from herein.

I do not let my fav teams interfere with my betting. I may not even bet on the game tonight. I can only give a call to a damn good bball team when I see one and their season thus far backs it up.

General, hope I didn't offend you. The post was more of a light hearted thing. Won't happen again. So you really see Indy winning easy tonight? And I hope you're correct in your assessment of things. Out.
