Just had a strange phone call from someone pushing lines for Scott Spritzer. What's strange is it came to my cell phone, which I would NEVER give out anywhere. Any idea on how to make these stop? I have accounts at 3 books - not sure which one would sell my info, but the creepy thing is - how did they get my cell number? Any advice appreciated.

Joey C I agree!!! Some companies pay whatever it takes to get info from potential clients I've heard stories of gambling material sent to 5 year old kids!!!

I think you guys missed what I said - they called my cell, which I barely give to anyone. I am not kidding when I tell you that about 6 people have this number and outgoing caller ID is blocked. It has never been entered online or posted for any sort of call back.

So my thought is - obviously they got my name from one of the 3 books I use, but did they bribe a worker at my cell company (one of the big 3 in the US) to get my #???

And I should add that the guy calling was a real jackass - thought he was a real wiseguy. Yeah you must be great if you're coldcalling for a frigging tout service.

It is sickening how much junk email I get from offshore sports books and casinos....

Do they REALLY get a return on spamming?
