Gambling: Profit or Not?

To answer the question, yes I do consider myself profitable long term (playing poker). Sports betting is much tougher IMO. I play mostly 1-2 and 2-4 limit games, and since i started about 4 months ago i'm up approximately $600. Not real big money, but good enough for a college kid trying to get cash for books!

I was able to win up to 7300 using 28 bucks, but of course, in the long run, soon or later, u will give it back, unless you don't touch it anymore in your life, which I don't think anybody is able to do it.

Learn to bonus whore casinos. You can make 6 figures doing that alone. 5 years ago it was a cash cow, with low roll overs. Now they have caught on, with the 20-30 time roll now, but still money to be make, just have to find the gold mine, stay disaplined, and let the money fall.

when I have the advantage over the house I place a bet. Mostly I make money on Video poker, hold em poker, and blackjack. I bet sports heavily, but it is not the breadwinner that casino games are. I dabble in stupid shit like American Idol, just because I can usually hedge out.

at least 90% of my profits are because of some type of bonus or contest prize of various sorts. I play very aggressively and without mercy on the house. I will take advantage any way I can short of cheating. I have had accounts in nearly a thousand online casino and sportsbooks over the years. Before the internet I was a card counter and that was much tougher.
