I disagree danny... on your 5% thing...

Ok, maybe 6 %. It sure isnt anywhere near the 80 % that the poll had while back.

The percent of people who would truly pay is 15 % at the absolute most. No way in the world it is any higher than that. People just need to feel that they are great, moral people so they convince themselves that they would always do the right thing. When the situation actually presents itself, we learn that talk is cheap.

" I AM A GOOD PERSON " -- The woman who lied about losing the ohio jackpot lottery ticket.

" I ALWAYS PAY WHAT I OWE " -- Surfboard ( hasnt posted in nearly 2 months, dissapeared as soon as he lost a $50 bet)

good point danny...I mean 99% of the people voting will never have to prove it because

A. It will never happen to them
B. If it did no one would know for the most part

i would pull it all out via neteller. then i would send the general the $100 tony richkas owes him. then, i'd neteller sea urchin the 3 dimes panther owes him. then, i'd send whatever amount rodfather owes dogball to him.

then, if there was anything left, i'd give it to a legit organization that helps starving kids in africa or someplace.

just call me the r/x robin hood.

Danny,

Very interesting insights...my observations are similar but probably with less extreme numbers.

If my 9 year-old daughter had to spend a day on a deserted island with either a randomly chosen Harley-Davidson biker or a randomly chosen priest, I'd choose the biker in no time flat. Switch the priest with teacher, doctor, judge, or any public official and my answer stays the same.

BTW I voted "no" but my real answer is "it depends". If I knew one of the bosses personally and I had a decent relationship with him I would probably give back the money but in a typical case I wouldn't. And the more successful the book, the less I would hesitate.

As much as I would like to think that I would report it, I would probably keep my mouth shut and keep playing with and give them a lot of action with it, so it would be easier to get away with it.
IF you would ask for a big payout right away, most likely they would catch it.

I am not sure I believe the majority of people would tell but I am pleased at these results, if they are actually true...

Perhaps the antithesis of this would be to ask some bookmakers what % of gamblers have actually reported errors made in their favor?

Why do I suspect the % would be less than what we have here?

I was double credited a pretty good size wager and thought for sure they would catch the mistake. I placed no wagers and after a month the mistake was still in my account. Started playing and they never caught it. I got my brains beat out at this book after this happened so the next time I think I will tell them.

Just give me the chance to steal from a casino without getting caught. Frig them money grubbing corporations. They will take every dollar from you and kick you to the curb when you are broke.
