Actually just started reading it last night, I'm about 100 pages into it and it's pretty damn good. If anyone's looking for it I got it @ Amazon for like $4.00!

just started reading it myself(pretty good so far)...just polished off 'we were wiseguys and didn't know it' in 4 hrs. yesterday afternoon.....which was a great read...cheers

was a good read..but some of the things written were a lil confusing...were names changed at all?....was there really a baseball game at coors a few years back with a total of 17(which hit 19 and that was this guy dave greenburgs' last game of his 7 teamer that got him outta the hole 25k and up 20k?) she speaks of having to root in the skins +3 in the superbowl v. the dolphins?....now i can't speak of the first two, but didn't the fish play the 49ers in the early 80's and the skins play the raiders?....you would think an editor or proofreader would pick these facts up..no?..maybe guys like BAS, or WILHEIM or anyone else in the know catch these words in the book?..cheers

But I will tell you right now....names were changed on most...if not All ( haven't finished )
And !!! Even Locations were Changed ????? which really makes No sense at all
Some of these Places aren't even Around anymore !

Point : the Gam Wau was NEVER on Northern Blvd !
it was on Old Country Road, across from Roosevelt Raceway...and Boy could I ever Write a Book about that Place ! It was one of the BEST Chinese Restaurants on Long Island !

But not sure Why she would change the Location ??? I could see changing Names

yeah that's funny u say that about the chinese restaraunt...cuz i can remember when i was younger my old man would come visit me and take me to roosevelt raceway(they would put on wrestling shows on by the finish line in the early 80's..what a kick) and chinese food after right near the track....
