6-2 Last week./
Chargers simply were out-coached badly at New England. Chargers coaching staff was brain dead for 3 quarters. They had no plan for their offensive line and Rivers was reduced to play calling that was poor to say the least.
Brady was masterful at placing the ball between the linebackers and the DB's. Obviously LA coaching had never heard of the Baltimore blitz, even though they faced it in Baltimore 2 games back. Billy-Boy utilized it well in shutting down Rivers and the dunce coaching staff for the Chargers. It won't work on Andy Reid.
Shawn Payton also did a horrible job for the Saints. That play list he holds o the sideline during the game looks like a restaurant menu that has choices for 200 meals and 50 desserts. He is over-coaching with that stupid list on both sides of his plastic playlist. You would think by now, he knows what his QB does best? Maybe he thinks of it as a Wee Gee board, Thinking it will draw him to the right play to call???
On to the games this week.
Saints -3 over Rams.
This should be a little simpler for the coaches on New Orleans. Rams defense won't show up in the dome. Brees will get back to scoring with the pass and the run game will balance the offense. That Saints defense was really good as they were pristine in shutting out the Eagles for the last 3 quarters. Im sure if Foles completed that pass that went through the receivers hands on the last series, the outcome would have been a win for Philly and HC Shawn Payton would be fired after that..
Rams are more run-oriented and the Saints have enough 'D' to slow it down while they are putting up points with long drives, therefore reducing time of possession for LA.
Play ON; Saints and Under 57.5
Kansas City -2.5 over New England.
The Patriots are not very good on the road. They are a Jeckle and Hyde team away and facing the Chiefs again on the road is tough.
This will be a very difficult game for a near-rookie QB to make it to the Superbowl. but Mahomes plays like a veteran and shows no sign of nervousness against anyone.
Chris Collinsworth, made several remarks about how mature the kid is and he is right.
Patriots simply don't score away and the fact that they only had 6 points in the second half against the Chargers allowed me to feel confident to play against them in Wigwam City.
Play on KC and Under 57
