I grew up in Laurel and Silver Spring but I live in Potomac now. Yea man... I have meet the Disanti bros the last 2 years up at champs in Reston. Noon - 1 am both days... Its like 30 minute drive to MD so its not that bad...

Oh that's not bad after all. I lived in Frederick for many years until last year; originally from Baltimore County (then Fallston). I don't think I ever went to Champps in Reston, and know this will be fun with fellow RX'ers! :toast:

St. Patty's day is on Sat this year, so we will be spending Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at the bar watching basketball and getting drunk beyond recognition. Any of you guys are invited, we usually do it in Reston, VA at Chammps sports bar.

Any and all are welcome...should be a good time. I put in all my vacation days for the first half of this year in December, just to make sure I didn't get fucked out of missing March Madness, the Super Bowl, etc.

Here's to 13 consecutive hours of drinking and watching bball for two straight days, weekdays at that. :toast:

One of these years a #1 is going down, we have almost seen it happen..just a matter of time.

I remember Coppin State reaching the sweet 16 as a #15 seed, and damn near getting to the elite 8. Princeton a last second basket away from stunning Georgetown, Chris Webber timeout, US READ from half court, Mark Aquirre, Len Bias........... Ralph Sampson never making it, and the following year Va getting to the final four led by Othel Wilson...Phi Slamma Jamma! Wally Walker leading the last place seed Va into the Tourney by winning the ACC ,NC State shocking Houston!!!! David Thompson ...Bill Walton... Bird /Magic- Wizard of Westwood winning his final game....Keith Smart...The Hoyas passing the championship game away to an unsuspecting James Worthy....Kentucky over Duke in '78...Duke over Kentucky in 92 triple OT thriller....all those buzzer beaters in the 1991 tourney....Doctors of Dunk (Louisville) Louisville beating Duke in 86 (good game) Duke stunning UNLV in what was remembered as a 'fixed' game ....Maryland beating Duke , Matyland losing to Duke after being up by 22 in the final four....so many March memories....many more.

No doubt the UNLV game was fixed !!! What about Valpo ? Definately alot more thrillers and memories in coll hoops in march then there are in Coll Football postseason, if you can call it a postseason.
