Calling for some combination of snow/ice//sleet/rain in East Rutherford on Sunday night.
Thanks for the heads up. Makes it a good opportunity to pick the better run game. My book has Dallas -3.5 so it looks like the books want more money on Giants. Figures since the public has been riding the Cowboys and cashing. Given that both the RB and QB both have good running potential it looks like a spot to possibly bet the cowboys. Get the better defense and better run game. I think their let down week was last week but they had a lot of things go their way to pull out a win. Maybe they let down this week, who knows. Public gets scared to take -3.5, books know that so they'll throw it out to get interest in the other side.

Also wanted to throw out that Cowboys in recent years are arguably the best road team in the NFL. So if someone's looking to bet a road favorite for a small price Cowboys are about the best you can do. I know the Giants are pretty good but I'm surprised the line isn't a little bit higher.

They're going to let "sharp" early bettors grab the hook because they know they'll still end up needing the Giants anyway.

Giants closed -1 in Dallas in week 1 and won 20-19. So there has been roughly a 10.5 point adjustment between these two lines assuming home field is worth 3.

Total for week 1 was 48 in Dallas, sitting at 47 now.

Dallas due for a letdown.
Giants need the game much much more.
Giants "D" is jelling.
Cold weather helps Giants.
But Eli is a mess, you never know WTF he will do. And Beckmann will get slapped around but the refs will not call it.

Dallas already had their letdown against Minny. They played awful in all phases and still won the game at a very tough venue. Now they get a revenge opportunity for their week 1 loss and extra prep time.

Dallas D is weak but I still think they get a win and probably cover here. Would lay 3 but 3.5 gives me pause.

My 02 cents ,
The NFL is scripted just like wwe. Not every game every week. I think at least 3-4 per week have a result already in place. you've gotta be able to read between the lines. Last week while taking one glance at the spread of the Pitt game I knew the Steelers game was scripted and they would win and cover and the following game NYG would win and cover VS Cowboys.
NYG will win straight up again ,like in week 1.

The game opened at -2.5. When the books push the favorite to -3.5 they are trying to discourage action from the public on Dallas in my opinion, and it works because your average better is scared of losing by half a point. It's simple psychology. Makes me want to bet the game more than if they left it at -2.5. That being said, I probably should have went ahead and got it at -2.5. Didn't catch it on time.

Yeah totally scripted. Out of 1700 NFL players in the NFL not one person has leaked it. They all just keep it a secret. Really small print in the contract. You can see it if you look close!

Ha!!!

I wonder if this was scripted....

Dallas won`t be having a Letdown....Nothing to Letdown from.

Plus there only loss is against the Giants.....Dallas will be looking to crush the Giants if they can.

Good luck!

The Dallas Cowboys can celebrate numerous victories on Sunday night should they exit MetLife Stadium with a win over the New York Giants. The Cowboys can avenge a season-opening loss to their NFC East rival, extend their gaudy winning streak to 12 games and clinch the NFC East title - and possibly a first-round bye and home-field advantage.

Rookies Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott have distinguished themselves since the former completed just 25 of 45 passes for 227 yards and the latter labeled his season-low 51-yard, 20-carry performance as "average" in a 20-19 loss to the Giants on Sept. 11. "It does seem like it was forever ago just because we've been through so much more as a team since then and we've grown so much," said Elliott, who tops the league in rushing yards (1,285) and is second in scrimmage yards (1,607). The Giants kept Elliott to a season-low 2.6 yards per carry in that tilt, but saw Le'Veon Bell become the first rusher to reach triple digits against them on Sunday following a 118-yard performance in a 24-14 setback to Pittsburgh. Odell Beckham Jr. did not snag any of Eli Manning's three touchdown passes in the opener, but has found the end zone eight times in his last eight outings.
