with opening day just 2 days away everyone get ready for a great season... i will be posting my plays daily also in a unit value.
1 unit = to win $500
Example for the newbies. Say the yankees are -200 vs whoever it would be $1000 to win $500
Example #2 Say the nationals are +200 to whoever it would be $250 to win $500.... etc...
will separate categories in sides (+/- 1.5) totals (o/u) ML, and side value bets so everyone can see the breakdown....
What is side value??? Let me explain.... this is a system some of the professional cappers have used and it has brought me some success when it hits... it goes as follows...
Game Example: Rangers are playing the Angels
Rangers +180 Angels -200
21% of the money is on the Rangers 79% is on the Angels
so what we would do is we would take the rangers @ 100 and multiply it by 1.80 = 180, then we would multiply that by the % on the rangers = .21
180 x 0.21 = 37.8 for side value.
now angels 100 divided by 2.0 (since they are favorite) = 50 then multiply that by the % on the angels which is 79%. 50 x .79 = 39.5. 39.5 > 37.8 so the angels would have the higher side value.....
This will be my 3rd year doing baseball seriously... been doing it my whole life for small value...
2007 season hit at 57% 2008 season hit at 59% making just over 31 units combined...
So get ready everyone... feel free to follow, fade, or observe that is up to you....
Opening day is sunday with there only being 1 game.. not sure if it fits into my system or not yet... will post daily and if anyone has any questions feel free to ask... i encourage you all to join this thread and lets all have some fun this baseball season!!!!
