FU Pistons

Was looking for a thread to :finger: the Pistons. Didn't find one so here it is.

Shitty ass team can't cover 9, they don't deserve to win 3 games in the playoffs. Now I have to watch GSW blow a 10 pt lead and not cover 13 I'm assuming. Stupid NBA is giving back all my NFL winnings from today.

Not to be a jackass, but you were betting on a team that had been on the road since January 2nd, playing a team that hadn't left home since January 3rd. Tall task to beat a team like the Jazz on tired legs after three straight road games.

Anytime I'm on the wrong side of a blowout, I'm not happy. I had OKC last night, that felt pretty good.

You can say that, but I bet the Jazz. No way to prove it, but during the regular season I put a lot of weight on how many days of rest a team has had or how many consecutive days players have been sleeping in their own beds in their own city. Over the grind that is the NBA season, being well-rested makes a big difference when these guys seem to have fluctuating levels of motivation on any given night.

Assuming Vegas pretty much always nails a solid line, I'll side with the more rested team any day of the week. And tonight, the Jazz fit the bill. Tomorrow, the Lakers fit the same mold...the Heat are on the third game of a West Coast road swing and the Lakers have slept in their own beds three consecutive nights. Give me the Lake Show!
