"Special Alert: Rumors of several more books ready to fall on the heels of the of the Gamblers Avenue Collapse. Temporarily, Players should only have funds in books that carry a SBR rating of B+ or higher.

Earlier today there was no special alert and Buzz was saying B- was safe.

Something is happening here and you don't know what it is, do you Mr. Jones? Man I sure don't.

Odd, Mr. Jones, just before you posted this topic I made the following post in another ('Sour Grapes') ...

Ponzi scheme mentioned AGAIN here - step aside, Hedgesyn, we're talking BIG money.

How many other Ponzi-wannabes are waiting to implode? How likely is it that one of those might be one of the books advertising here? Do not misinterpret that to mean that I am spreading any rumors either - I'm not - but if a Ponzi-like weasel scheme was being run right under the Shrink's nose, what is so unlikely about another one going on right now?

Truthteller had it right all along - kudos - GA was operated by a hyena but without one-tenth the charm.

Jazz - Buzzsaw just started a thread for creating a players trust account....maybe this was:

1) Posted on his site to help this idea take hold. (which I don't mind because it's a great and long over due idea)

2) Maybe other books are ready to fall or will after Superbowl and he has a feeling of what might happen soon.

3) Both one and two

Strut

Better they get clobbered this week, than string people along through the Superbowl and disappear in a cloud of smoke. Both for the business, and the players.

Aces Gold, NAB, Camelot, Grand Central and now GA all hit SBR by complete surprise. As of last Friday, SBR had GA rated at c+...higher than Royal

I knew and many others that GA's bonus policy was moronic. I Just assumed that SBR had more info than I did.

A CR book manager told me it wont be long before another certain book gets in trouble. This was not someone I spoke to today and they did not tell me the book and yes we can wonder if it is self motivated. So not much info there but I won't be posting up at Costacoconutscasino.com this week.

Stick with the books that have been around for a while and are clean of bad rumours on the forums. Something is not right there.

You know what I dont get? Why not just name the damn books? Who cares if it causes a run on the bank. It is OUR money. It should be there WHEN WE WANT IT. PERIOD!

Pinnacle had their run on the bank, and they paid everyone in minutes. All this bull about no one will go back and play at a book after a run on is lying. Everyone here is playing at Pinnacle again. Why? Because they showed they can PAY players on DEMAND! Of course if your book cant end up paying and has to stall on payments, then why should players go back to you? Why even give you a chance to steal our money?

So just name the books and lets have these run on the banks. If it causes a book to fold now, isnt that better than having them go all season long and then fold later? Why give them a chance to get more post up that they never plan to return?

Name the damn books.

I think I might know of one. I just logged into my account there fine but when I try and log-in to the section to withdraw funds I see a very suspicous looking "Connection Failed" message.

I phoned the book who said to set-up the transaction from the NETeller website. I tried to do this but their NETeller account is empty. Phoned the book and they said they are waiting on a deposit. I hope I am wrong on this.

nets,

I am not very adept at using the features of the forum but is there a way to send you a private message?

The last thing I want to do is post their name on here and create a run on them with me having funds tied up there.

I know its your money Nets. I would name the book if I knew with any certainty. SBR was not going to mention a location but I will confirm Major's noted area is correct.

If you are in the top tier books you have nothing to worry about. If you're not, well, better pull for the dogs....

so with this Betpanam 20% 3x is that something to be worried about?

And to tell the truth I think Beverly Hills is next. They always give out large bonuses, they look like another Gamblers Avenue waiting to happen.

Im a bit worried about RIO with all this little remarks that some insiders are making. However I have been paid mid 5figures recently but only at 2500/day. But they paid everyday without having to hassle them.

suetoneous,

quote:
Aces Gold, NAB, Camelot, Grand Central and now GA all hit SBR by complete surprise.

NAB, Grand Central and Camelot were on the Black List well before trouble! Aces Gold was downgraded well before the superbowl although not black listed. You did get one right though, GA. Let me know if you find a site that has caught every one right.
