From the State of Hockey...MG Man's Minnesota Wild thread!!!!

I will only play Wild games and have some decent insight on this team. I have done very well on them in the last three weeks during their hot streak. It will continue throughout the playoffs. Monday they play Vancouver and they have played twice in February with the Wild winning both with a total of 6 goals in Minnesota and 8 goals in Vancouver. Minnesota has won 8 of 9 and trails Vancouver by two points in the race for a wildcard spot. This is a playoff game and won't be as high scoring as their recent matchups. In fact, three of the last four in Canada have gone under.

5* Minn under 5 even money.

Good start. 1 goal first period with limited shots on goal. Minny has won something like 8 or 9 in a row when they've scored first. I hope that continues.

I am being selective and tonight has some value plays. I was in St Louis this week and their coach put them through the hardest practice of the year. They will respond.

It's nice to have a great night going into Saturday. I was planning on only posting Wild games here but I couldn't resist the Blues who have been great at home and Boston is playing terrible right now. The Wild have outscored their opponents by something like 22-4 in the first period recently.
3-0 now in this thread with the two winners in the NBA a nice 5-0 night. I wish I had played a five teamer.

My plan was to only post Wild game plays here but I've decided to expand beyond it. I played three more last night that I didn't post and hit them all so I hope to keep this rolling. I'm 13-2 my last 15 in all sports. Let's see if we can make some more headway today.

4* Minn -.5 1st period +165? I haven't got my official line but Minny has beaten Dallas the last four at home and is got payback coming as the last meeting the Stars won 7-1 in Dallas. Minny has outscored their opponents 22-6 in the first period since Duby arrived.
4* Chic -165, this is a big number to lay for a team that isn't playing great but Boston is in a complete down slide.
4* NYI over 5.5
4* Pt under 5 -40, hate laying the extra juice but trends support the under.

I just got my line on the 1st period, it's +145. I forgot to mention Minny has scored first in 11 of the last 12 game.

Maybe I should just stick to Wild games. 0-4 last time out. Now 3-4 but with the two huge dogs, I'm about even. Minnesota owns these guys and knows they need to keep winning. They are now chasing Chicago to get the third seed. They will not let down.
