ok, so I am not really new. I have been around here and the other place for about 4 months I would say. These four months really opened my eyes though

I didn't realize there were so many crooked players looking for any kind of advantage to capitalize on. Some of the things these people will do absolutely amaze me. I knew there were stiff books before hand though. Then there was the Suckerbuxx situation which was fuc ked up also. Anyways, all I am saying is these forums have opened up my eyes to how many crooks there are in the gambling industry. Was it that way for anyone else when they joined these forums or am I alone. lol.

Good point valdosta.

There are scammers and crooks in all walks of life. The Rx specializes in betting & sportsbooks and unfortunately like other businesses the chit rises to the top and the good deeds get left out often. There are 1000's more good people here than bad, but the bad things are pointed out more often. I am not surprised at all by so many people taking shots but, please try to recognize the good as well as the bad. It is easy to overlook the big picture and focus on a small part.

I don't think there are as many as Claude the fraud wants you to believe.

He figures if he drags other people down to his level, he won't stink as bad.

General-True, when you have a scammer or messed up situation there are usually tons of threads and posts made about it. There are plenty of people who post at these places who are decent people. When you look at these forums though it puts gambling into a different perspective. Some people will do ANYTHING to get a leg up and there are suckers who let thereselves get taken advantage of unfortunantely.

at first, a long time ago, the minute someone would attack a book everyone would pitch in throwing darts left and right at the book in question....

now, after 178 thousand cases have been handled, its funny to see how much the posters have matured and now want to hear the other side of the story before making further accusations...

It's seems to be human nature. It's a similar to gossip, Reminding of the local family restaurant or grocery where all of the employees know all of the visitors and let their ears stand wide open for some rumors. Same here mostly. Once the rumor or assumption of rumor has been found, it is time to pass it on more dramitically. LOL

For the record once again, i am all for NO bonuses, but that appears far from happening. I applaud Cascade for not being a big bonus shop. Lenny and that group are very reputable and do not give away the farm to bonus chasers.

Kudos

Don't get me wrong, I love bonuses and take advantage of them when I can. However, I also leave my money in their for months and roll it over many, many more times than they request. If the book really sucks I will pull out early, but that has only happened in one case so far for me.

The way I see it, they are paying me to give them a shot. I appreciate it, and if the book is decent I will stay with them as a permanent customer as thanks.

If I were a book I would be out of bussiness because I wouldn't offer any bonus's. I understand why they do though. It attracts your typical gambler. Unfortunantely some try taking advantage of that.

I'm new here, but not surprised by the thread. With all te new pop-ups and unbelievable deals I'm being offered by OS books this year, I'm wondering how bad they might be. Will enjoy learning more.

Anybody here had bad experiences with Rio/Skybook? I want the xtra 1/2 point but don't want to get ripped.

Uncle Bulgaria,

I would recommend Rio sir. The half point is there with a $500 deposit. They are to be very trusted and a very safe sportsbook.

valdosta,

I think crookedness has accompanied gambling for hundreds if not thousands of years. But some of us (like myself) somehow thought the modern world was different. I was naive and learned my lesson, but I think the General is right in that a huge majority of gambling transactions are between honest parties.

There are way more honest than dishonest. It is just easier for some azzholes to point out the bad all the time and never focus on the good.
