Well he used to be part of the crew I used to skateboard when I was a teen, I quit skating when I was like 18 but still hanged out with the guys for the next 6 years at clubs... thing is, the guy wasnt the easiest guy in the world... I'm no prize either so we clashed often... he beat up my best friend once and I had to put him straight... had to escort him out of a chicks party cause he was on acid and fucking ate the bday cake before the happy bday shit... so we were friends friends? Not really, he despised coke heads and I was one and he gave me shit for it BUT HE WAS A GOOD PERSON, all the shit aside, all the negativity left behind, guy didnt deserved that shit. No one does, hits close to home cuase this happened in my neighborhood where my parents have lived in the last 30 years.
Now the news are more clear... he arrived at 3am to his place and a crackhead that he had problems with before was scavenging on his trash, buddy beat the crackhead and he thought the guy was unconscious, crackhead faked leaving and came back with a kitchen knife and stabbed the guy 3 times in the back/neck... inside the guy's garage.
I feel disgusted by the whole thing, hate crackheads, I berate at them often... this could to anybody

This. He said he didn't even like the guy. I mean, yeah it's still fucked up. But I was just basically saying he shouldn't let it bother him if it was a guy he wasn't even friends with.
Didn't mean to come off as a dick, was just trying to provide my perspective. I don't revel in someone getting murdered...
Sorry to hear about it Pocket....the world is a messed up place sometimes. Hearing things like this puts things in perspective....life is precious and fleeting so make the most of it. Whether it's a family member, friend, or an acquaintance....sudden loss of life is never easy to deal with or grasp.
Your post reminded me of a high school friend of mine. We hung out back and were fairly close friends back in the day but lost touch over the years. Came to found out he was murdered last year while on vacation in Mexico with his family. He was a bright guy that everyone respected and was a real gentle man & non-confrontational. He was in Cancun staying at an all inclusive resort with his wife and two young children. He went for a beer at one of the onsite bars after dinner while his wife went to put the kids to bed. He never made it back to he room.....he was found dead out behind the bar with blunt trauma to the head. Killed by a local who tried to rob him. Just crazy.....have stayed at that resort on a couple of occasions for a conference.
You just never know.....appreciate and take advantage of the time that you have.

Exactly. Sometimes you might just want to get other people's take on something.
A couple of years ago, a complete stranger committed suicide 15 feet from me...if I posted about it, it doesn't mean that I am looking for sympathy. I might just want to know if somebody has had a similar experience. Who knows, maybe somebody will tell me that I'll never get the sound or vision out of my head, or whatever.
That's how I take this thread. I don't think he's looking for anything in particular (especially sympathy)

That's freaking terrible... I know some people who have killed themselves, a distant cousin that killed herself cause she was a lesbian and couldn't cope with the rejection her family put her through, she was in the high school bk team, she was very good, she stole her dad's gun and did it.

Has anybody seen the liveleak video where the girl stabs her ex-boyfriend in the back? I think the video is the dude walking out in a field with a knife sticking in his back .. and he collapses. Haven't seen it in a long time.
