Will play this game with a blindfold on. It could look like a 5:00 pm batting practice session, but I won't be able to see it anyway. Leaning to Seattle against Baltimore. Weaver has actually been decent on road and like his matchup versus O's. Trachsel is usually bombs away, after 45 second breaks between pitches. Look for a 25-21 final. Line confirms my feel. Why is Balt not the fav? Thus:

Seattle -102 one unit

YTD record 21-18 +12.11 units

Fla. @ Philly with Willis taking on Lohse. Dontrelle been a bit better of late and just might be rounding back to form, which made him the prospect of the new millenium. Has beaten Phillies 4 straight including two in '07. Not overly excited about Florida's lineup and "O" attack. Phils keep plugging away despite injury jinx, but like Marlins in this matchup. Thus:

Florida +127 one unit

YTD: 22-18 +13.11 units

Will play against first time starter in Big Apple tonight. Rookie Barone versus Mets and Lawrence. Expect the resurrected Mets project to be a bit better in 2nd start out, after his pre-longed absence from MLB. Barone has not seen this kind of lineup at AAA or AA. Not big on laying this type of juice, but will tonight. Thus:

Mets -151 one unit

YTD: 22-19= +12.11 units

Tampa Bay with Shields vs Bosox & Wakefield. Rays have seen Tim W. earlier so no surprises for youngsters. Shierlds has been outstanding from April opener. Sox in a lull and pressure may start to mount from NYY. Anxiety + solid starter. Thus:

Tampa Bay + 153 one unit

YTD: 22-20 +10.60 units

Yanks should have hitting shoes on and playing for JT's life will have them totally focused again. Injuns will do their fair share of damage, as well; versus Wang on 3 days rest. Thus:

NYY-Cleve: total over 10 -125 one unit

Prop: NYY & Cleve over 29.5 Runs, Hits, Errors -120 one unit

YTD: 22-21 +9.60 units

Cleve has been resilient throughout '07. CC has been a big reason. However; this is a roadie, in a hostile environment, versus the possible Cy Young winner and the best team in MLB. Beckett has been Koufax-like and expect more of the same in Fenway ALCS #1.

Boston -1.5 +128 1/2 unit

YTD: 23-21 +10.60 units

ALCS #2 is a carbon copy of last night's matchup. Carmona enters as a hot, young pitcher with almost zero playoff experience. Schilling has been near as good, with tons of post season gamesmanship under his belt. The results should be the same. Sox hitters looking very confident of late and Cleveland seems overwhelmed, in this atmosphere. Thus:

Boston Redsox -133 one unit

D-backs given up for dead. Rockies on unbelievable roll. Will roll versus all the momentum with Livan tonight. Crafty veteran has been clutch and should keep aggressive Colorado lineup out of sync. LH has been nothing short of brilliant in 2007 outings against the mile high rocksters. Thus:

Arizona + 139 one unit

YTD: 24-22 +9.91 units
