I have recently retired as a teacher/football coach and I am amazed at the bitching and pettiness of others in all forums. Aren't we all trying to win? Who gives a shit what others say or do. Skene and Gilbert are elite. Mariners are 26th in offense vs righties. Pirates are 28th vs righties. 4 runs in the first three? I would be shocked, but it is baseball.
In Corbin's (Nationals) last 10 starts all the teams he has faced scored at least one run by the 7th inning. Actually, all the teams scored by the 5th, but I'm playing it safe. In Nola's last 10 starts all the teams have scored at least one run by the 7th also. Nats are also 18-2 scoring at least one run by the 7th in their last 20 games. Phillies are 11-2 in last 13 games. Finally, in Waldron's (Padres) last 10 games every team has scored by the 7th, and Quantrill (Rockies) has allowed all teams to score by the 7th in his last 10 games. Rockies also have scored the last 16 games by the 5th inning! Padres are 8-2 in their last 10. The best part is that we are at Coors field.
One could probably play 1st 5 with the last two, but I'm playing conservative to start.
