Sorry for the belated post, taking a shot at a few on the back end of the cards today.

Woodbine

Race 5

Strikingly (8-1)

This one took a while to break his maiden and did so for $40,000 when claimed, fits the distance and able to stalk which is important as the track bias seems to be changing in the couple of days, shot at a price.

Race 7

Smoke Bomb (8-1)

Lone 4 yr old in this maiden affair and with Bug Brimo aboard who is riding her tail off right now and improving form could get this one to the winners circle

Race 10

Fresh Thunder

Stable finally drops this one into a spot(16K) he deserves to be in after back to back 32K races, should be up close if not on the front end and should be there at the wire.

Back with Saratoga in a bit.

Saratoga

Race 5

Laser Con (3-1)

Scratched yesterday, goes today.. Lake should have this charge ready to run, only fear is City of Peace getting onto early and unchallenged.

Race 6

Secret Run (12-1)

Really going out on a limb here as there are some fairly good 50K claimers in this one but I am going to give this Contessa runner a shot at a price here, like the fact hat Corneilo is aboard as well.

Race 8

Tap the Admiral (8-1)

This one threw in a clunker at Woodbine is a Stakes then ran back to his form and won next out, improving and a price. I am value hunting today and hopefully this one can click as well.

ragu,

watched the race with strikingly, (as i respect your handicapping/insight). while strikingly ran a huge race at a great price, don't think the "trouble" cost him the race. he lacked room for a brief instant, but don't think he outkicks justice minister in any event. hope we can still get a price on that one next out.

Had 10 across on Secret Run, thought we had it for a second, just missed 2nd. Hopefully get at least$6.00 to show to break even.

Mazel... i watched the replay again after posting and optimistic that he had a little trouble, after paying attention to Justice that one seemed comfortable and probably had alot more in the tank had Strikingly been closer.

Matt..that I thought I had that one, he got leg weary and lost the place spot by a nose, at least the show price brought some money back.
