2-3, - about 3.5 units. I guess the dropping line on the Cards told me that sharp guys knew Ventura was fine. That the Cards had never seen him, and he could keep his team in it until the bullpen came in. The Royals BP is one of the best.
Texas -1 (-125) 2 units. Darvish has been incredible, even better than Tanaka and King Felix. He has reduced his walks from earlier/ last year and has only yielded 3 HRs this year. His command is better, and is getting more 1st pitch strikes- instead of nibbling. Darvish, in his last 4 starts, has only given up 2 runs to the red hot Jays, and 2 to the Tigers(before their hitting went south). 31.2 IPs, 4 ERs. It is really hard in the DH lineup AL to have a 2.08 ERA this far into the season. Now the Indians have won 6 in a row. But that has been against some iffy pitching of the Red Sox(poor starters) and the terrible pitching of the Rockies(no BP). The Indians have not seen Darvish very much and that will make it extra challenging. They also are dead last in fielding in the mlb, which can't make Bauer a better pitcher. The Indians have far too many fielders in the bottom 1/4 of the mlb at their position. Bauer has command issues, but for the most part, it's hard to say how he'll do. More promise, right now, than production.
