Toronto at Winnipeg (-4, 51)
Toronto was in the wrong place at wrong time facing Calgary last week and was trounced 44-9 as 7.5-point underdogs. The Argos (1-2 SU&ATS) continue to make both mental and physical errors, committing double digit penalties again and five turnovers. Toronto is notorious slow starters and is 18-33 ATS in the first month of the season.
Winnipeg (1-2, 2-1 ATS) lost at Hamilton last week, as Stephen LeFors continues to struggle with the passing game (last with 151.3 YPG) and the defense can’t stop the opponents from throwing the ball for 318 YPG, which is last in the league. The Blue Bombers will continue to lean running game which is the best in CFL at 147.3 yards and try and force Toronto into more miscues, since they have 10 turnovers the last two weeks. Winnipeg is 5-0 ATS off a straight up loss.
No developing history between these combatants, with Winnipeg 10-8 and 9-8-1 ATS as the home team against Toronto. One aspect to look for is the total, with seven of last eight meetings going UNDER.

Calgary at British Columbia (+2.5, 60)
Both these teams finally made a mark in the win column last week, much later than expected. Calgary (1-2 SU&ATS) received help from its defense, as they forced three turnovers that led directly to 21 points in 44-9 rout of Toronto. Quarterback Henry Burris was on target completing 23 of 32 passes for 348 yards. Burris will attempt to take advantage of British Columbia’s pass defense, which is ranked sixth. The Stampeders are 9-1 ATS versus poor passing defenses allowing a completion percentage of 61 percent or worse.
The Lions (1-2 SU&ATS) finally showed their prowess in 40-22 blowout at Edmonton. Jarious Jackson was on target for 362 yards passing, good for four touchdown scores, taking over for an injured Buck Pierce. B.C. isn’t always at their best at home with 3-9-1 ATS record and will want to put the hurt on Calgary.
The Lions are in underdog role and they have sparkled in that role with 7-0 ATS mark, winning by almost 10 points a game. Calgary has held the upper-hand of late with 4-1 ATS record.
