some intersting match-ups today, at least i think so.

1* Buffalo +115 @ Washington. Sabers 7-1 last 8 in Washington. Sabers 14-3 last 17-meetings. Plus, the Caps can't win every home game?

1* NY Islanders +115 vs Toronto. Leafs 3-13 last 16 in NY. Leafs 2-7 as a FAV. Plus, the Islanders have to win sometime.

1* Philadelphia +120 @ Chicago Flyers 12-1 last 13 meetings. Over is probably a stronger play, we'll see.

Lean on Atlanta +115 vs Carolina, why not?

Past couple of Dec 26ths have seen Faves pretty much carry the day.

That noted, we agree with ATL since they have a 6-6 record (strong compared to their overall) when playing with 2+DaysRest and also they are 10-6 when playing teams from BottomHalf of the NHL (Carolina currently 21st)*

Taking a reasonable guess that Saturday night's second leg of this Home&Home will have Kolzig for Bolts vs Anderson for Panthers - which IMHO is a much better spot to take a shot with Florida (currently +110)

( post #4 ) Thanks for the reply, can't argue with the numbers but I believe that Voukon is going for his thrid shut-out so you could make a case for him having the hotter hand. Either way that re-inforces the point that tonight might be a odd one.

Ony fav I would look at tonight would be the Panthers ( -150 )
*Panthers 7-2-1/L-10 & 8-4-2 @ home
*Lightning 2-6-2/L-10 & 5-10-3 - road
plus, I think you got the goalie match-up in your favor.
otherwise you can make a case for just about every dog tonight, then again maybe i'm way off.
