THURSDAY 0-1 -5.35 UNITS

Not a great day yesterday in the college football but today well be better. Let me know what you think about todays selections:

5 Units Colorado +2.5 -104

No matter what happens Saturday, Nebraska appears to be headed towards a new coach for next year despite words to the contrary from Frank Solich. The Cornhuskers (8-3 SU, 6-5 ATS, R: 2-2 SU, ATS) disarray falls right into the hands of Colorado who are on a two game winning streak after a three game losing streak to the high and mighty of the conference (Texas Tech 26-21, Oklahoma 34-20 Kansas State 49-20). Colorado (5-6 SU, ATS) has won the last two meetings, 28-13 a year ago and 63-36 two years ago in Lincoln. Nebraska which outscores opponents 25-15 has the big time running game but Jaamal Lord just hasn't cut it in the air. Home field should be a factor here as the Buffs fight for a .500 season and could make it three straight over the Huskers!!!

5 Units Miami Ohio OVER 53.5 -108

The high scoring Miami RedHawks, who average 480 ypg total offense, are led by Ben Roethlisberger, who completed 19-of-28 passes for 294 yards last week and four touchdowns in just three quarters as No. 19 Miami of Ohio (10-1 SU, 7-4 ATS) extended its winning streak to 10 games, with a 49-31 win over the Ohio Bobcats. The RedHawks already had clinched the division and visit the winner of next week's Bowling Green/Toledo contest in the conference championship game on December 4. Central Florida (3-8 SU, 2-5 ATS) was held to 170 yards of offense and only 6 first downs in losing 21-7 to Marshall on Saturday. The RedHawks are in a league of their own in the MAC and Central Florida is giving up 382 ypg, which meanws Big Gen will have add even more passing yards to his eye-popping numbers. Make sure the scoreboard's been oiled before game time!!!

5 Units LSU -9.5 +102

This is definitely the most important game of the holiday week. After squeaking by Ole Miss 17-14 last week, LSU is now in position for a trip to the SEC title game and maybe a BCS bid. Arkansas (8-3 SU, 6-5 ATS) drubbed SEC disaster Mississippi State 52-6 SU last week. Arkansas completely relies on the running game, averaging 240 yards a game. In their 3 losses this year, Arkansas has failed to run near this average. This is important since LSU has one of the most dominant defenses in the country, especially against the run. Last week, LSU only allowed 27 yards on the ground. LSU is only giving up 58 yards a game on the ground per game this season. That is simply impressive. Last season, LSU (10-1 SU, 8-2 ATS)lost a close one 21-20 SU to Arkansas at Little Rock. LSU has won six out the last ten in this matchup. LSU is looking for a little revenge in this one and needs this game badly. Death Valley should be more than enough in this one!!!

5 Units Texas -20.5 -101

The long, tall Longhorns (9-2 SU, 6-2 ATS) have won five straight as they head to Aggie-land on Friday holding a 3-game winning streak over A&M. Texas has been outscoring Big XII opponents 42-22 and 444 ypg as they head to a possible post-season clash with LSU in the Cotton Bowl. Texas A&M comes off a 45-22 Big 12 Conference loss to Missouri last week and they been given up a lot of yards and points all season. Not a good forumla for this game, as Texas can score plenty. The game was never was close as the Missouri Tigers took a 22-6 lead into the locker room and scored 23 points in the second half. Dustin Long replaced a struggling Reggie McNeal and completed 21-of-27 passes for 241 yards for the Aggies. Texas A&M is 1-10 against the spread!!! Texas is averaging 42 points, 227 rushing yards and 217 passing per game, which spells big trouble for the A&M defense in this rivalry!!!

Good luck today my friends

EXCELLENT analysis.

Not sure about Colorado..but your other selections look like winners. Miami might even beat the spread if the weather is good.

THANKS

Fellas,

Allstar,

Are you thinking that Miami Ohio will hang 48 on UCF? I hope so, because there is NO WAY that UCF will score 14 points....they flat out suck.

LSU will cover this number, and make it look easy. The easy thing to do would be to take the points and go with Arkansas, because everyone saw how LSU struggled against Ole Miss....right? Not so fast. There NUMEROUS reasons why the Tigers failed to crush the Rebels last week, and NONE of those will be present today at home. Take the Tigers on Senior Day!
