Best Bet: ADDISON BAY (10th)

Spot Play: DESIGNER GENES (2nd)

Race 1

(2) FARMERS TUITION is at the bottom level and enters the Moreau barn. (6) CANT STOP ROCKIN drops in class and draws better than last week. (5) JET HOT STUFF raced well at this level last week with a solid final frame. She'll offer a fair price.

Race 2

(7) DESIGNER GENES lit up the tote board in last week's win. Gallucci's barn has been much better lately. (10) PROTEGE SEELSTER has back class and remains at this level after a second place finish last start. (5) GOSHEN SEELSTER drops into a claimer after a solid qualifying effort. Filion is in the bike and that's a positive sign.

Race 3

(2) SHES A MANIAC and Jamieson got the job done last week in this class and will aim for a repeat at the same level. (8) WAAMULA was the heavy favourite last week based on the class drop and disappointed. She'll look to rebound herself. (3) GREYSTONE LADYLIKE just missed last week. She jumps in class and is capable.

Race 4

(3) FOREGO THE CIGAR should be much more effective with the post relief in this same class. (2) BEEEYOUUUUUU draws well and has been knocking on the door for a few weeks. (7) ARTISTIC TOPAZ moves into the Johnson barn and is at the bottom level. His value will drop based on the trainer change.

Race 5

(3) K D BELLA draws inside a qualified very well with a :27 4/5 final frame. If she minds her manners, she's a top threat. (1) MUSCLE ON BROADWAY draws the rail and hasn't been worse than third in five starts. (2) VALORSCROSS qualified well, had a successful rookie campaign last season and gets post two.

Race 6

(5) A FILLY AFFAIR is fresh off a win at Flamboro and fits the maidens in this class. She may go off as the favourite. (2) MARA TIME LADY draws inside and has been knocking on the door in her last two starts. (9) LADY VALENTINE will have to overcome the outside, but has proven she's been a top contender at this level.

Race 7

(9) D GS PESQUERO comes out of the Moreau barn, has gate-speed and won at this level two back. (3) TRUE REFLECTION draws well once again and will look for an inside trip. (7) NOTALKINGBACK qualified very well since her layoff. She comes out of Brethour's barn and had a terrific 2013 season.

Race 8

(5) OAKLEA VICTOR draws well, comes out of Moreau's barn and won in this class just a few weeks ago. (3) ALEXANDER LUKAS draws well and has been racing at his best in his last two. (2) DEVRIES HANOVER comes out of the Puddy barn, gets Jamieson and closed very well last start.

Race 9

(7) ROCK N ROLL XAMPLE can handle the class jump based on two wins in her last three starts. (9) LIGHTS GO OUT closed very well for new trainer Boyd. She'll have to overcome the outside again, but proves she's capable. (3) TOPANGA CANYON draws inside and hasn't missed the board in her last five starts.

Race 10

(6) ADDISON BAY has won two straight and once again in the horse to beat. (5) MARQUISE DE SARAH has been racing at her best, remains in this class and will offer a low price. (3) JAN IT JACKSON returns after a solid qualifier. She adds lasix and appears ready.

Race 11

(10) MISSEVIL hasn't raced since Jan. 31, but certainly looks like the horse to beat in her undefeated career. (5) SHUTTHEFRONTDOOR draws inside and posted the upset win in her latest. (8) IGNITE THE NITE comes out of the McMaster barn and suffered a tough trip in her latest. With a clean trip, she's a factor in this dash.

(1) IDEAL DANNY Gelding was second best in his last start; poised to best these with Brennan at the controls. (2) GIACOMETTI gets a better post to work with. (4) BAD AS BART rallied strongly for the show spot last out; contender.

Race 4

(3) MASTER PINE gets class and post relief in here. Old pro can get it done at his best. (2) DASH FOR THE CASH This could be a better spot for this trotter to contend. (1) NOBLE WARRAWEE just got up for the place spot last time around; watch out.

Race 5

(6) MUGSHOT JESS takes a slight drop in class and that might work out well for this trotter to take home the bacon; maybe. (1) WAR CRY HALL makes his second try on the dropdown and draws the rail slot. (2) IM FABULOUS Trotting miss showed tactical speed last out; change of tactics tonight.

(4) ECONOMY TERROR finally leaves the 8-hole and this pacing mare has every right to get the job done. (6) ROYAL CEE CEE N is much better than her last try. (5) YAGONNAKISSMEORNOT closed strongly for the place spot last time around; not out of this by far.

Race 7

(1) IL MAGO put in a sharp effort for the score recently and this five-year-old could make it two straight despite the rise in class. (3) BLACKTUXWHITESOCKS Gelding has done well in his last four trips to the post; threat. (2) HARBOR POINT Tough break in the stretch drive last time out but clearly could rebound in here.

Race 8

(8) DWS NY YANK raced evenly in his last one, has fine speed and should be ready to roll against these. (4) BLACKSTREET HANOVER She got the job done via the pocket route; major player. (5) SUPER MANNING's last one indicates he is knocking at the door; watch out.

Race 9

(6) DIABLO SEELSTER has scored in his last two tries at the Meadowlands. Gelding is on top of his game and the hat trick is not out of the question. (5) SKY DESPERADO was sent down the road last out for the victory; main danger. (2) TRIP HANOVER put in a mild rally in his previous try; don't overlook.

Race 10

(5) FAST AND FIESTY She was quite good getting the job done at 26-1 last time around. Good chance this gal could do it again. (2) ROYAL KNOCKOUT gets serious post relief; big threat. (4) SOUTHWIND JAZMIN just held on for win honors in her last trip; beware.

(1) AMIGO RANGER takes the plunge in class, gets the rail slot and Brennan gets the call; gets my vote. (2) MELADYS MONET returns to Yonkers and this could be a nice spot for this guy to contend with these. (7) WALDORF HALL could have a say in the outcome.

(3) COLLAGE Pacing miss moves to the three slot and that might be what she needs to take this group to task for all the glory. (1) NO RESPECT has been sharp in her last two trips to the post; big threat. (4) SIR JILLIAN Z TAM put in a mild bid in her latest; not out of this.

Race 1

(7) SPLITSVILLE gets a drop in company after a reasonable mile in his first start of the season. Five-year-old is in good trotting hands and may be worth a price. (2) SOAPY SAP has done very well at this level in the past and seems like the horse to beat. (1) DINERO FISHMAN has been battling tougher with limited success and may become more assertive from this spot.

Race 2

(6) AMERICAN IN PARIS continues to get the benefit of impeccable form and short fields. Burke trainee has been flawless as a four-year-old and now faces a similar group to the one she dominated last week. (3) LORRIE PLEASE willingly gave up the lead after being used hard early last time. Veteran mare may choose to control things tonight. (5) MONKEY ON MY WHEEL has as much class as any in here and appears to be coming around.

Race 3

(7) SWEET CHARITY showed major ability in a very limited two-year-old season. Art Major-sired filly qualified back exceptionally well and doesn't find a difficult spot for her sophomore debut. (10) HANDSOFFMYCREAMPUF was a disappointment racing without cover as a 4-5 favorite in last. Western Terror-sired filly may look to leave the gate now that she has some racing experience. (3) ALWAYS ON A ROLL looks for her second straight at this level.

Race 4

(4) OFFINTHESUNSET was a stakes filly at two and three and returns off solid qualifiers in the basement; hard to go against. (2) FROM THE START has a reasonable amount of class and makes her second local start with leading driver Gingras aboard. (8) ABROKENART HANOVER seemed impossible to steer last week for Andy Miller. Five-year-old just can't be that bad.

Race 5

(6) JANIE BAY returns from Yonkers in very good form. Ontario-bred mare finds a field she can contend with and may regain winning form. (1) SOLID QUEEN earned the demotion after several outside draws. Four-year-old may be aggressively handled from the inside. (7) UP FRONT CRUISER had little chance coming overland in a quick mile last time and may set up better with her speed and even fractions.

Race 6

(6) WHATA DONATO may have only won by a neck in last but did in fact win. Four-year-old faces a competitive group but still looks the part of an up and comer. (9) JURGEN HANOVER doesn't need an introduction. This four-year-old showed top class potential in a three-year-old season cut short. (5) MARION MONACO has been in with tougher.

Race 7

(3) MUSCOLO faces a significantly weaker group than he did last week. Veteran was rock solid in his second-place finish and seems on the verge of a breakthrough. (6) GAELIC AND GARLIC has quietly been coming around and is a long shot worth following. (5) MARCUS BI is dangerous if allowed to sit and sprint late.

Race 8

(5) SHAWNEE DANCER had no chance upon dropping to this level last week. Five-year-old moves inside and remains in the hot hands of Andrew McCarthy. (1) MARINADE HANOVER has made breaks in two of her last three starts while racing against significantly better company. Perhaps with the inside draw she'll be more composed. (7) TWIN B ELITE must have found something she doesn't like approaching the wire. Five-year-old has converted victory into defeat and stopped abruptly in her last two starts while looking like a winner; can Gingas help?

Race 9

(7) DOUGH DOUGH hails from the winning combination of driver Mike Simons and trainer Gail Wrubel. The pair has been impressive in the trotting ranks this winter and this mare is another with speed and staying power. (10) FOUR STARZ SPEED drops and lands outside but that shouldn't deter Gingras from pushing her out of the gate. (2) MCKENZIES STAR moves up after a solid score in her first race in more than a month.

Race 10

(5) KAMWOOD LAUGHTER N gets a very important driver switch after a couple of very close calls. Veteran import should break the ice locally. (4) PARDON drops a notch and rates consideration. (2) VY HANOVER is placed to share off the drop as well.

Race 11

(2) BAD GIRL VEGAS didn't quit badly after a long overland journey in her local debut. Improving four-year-old lands inside and can take all with a better trip. (8) MARTY PARTY has shown the ability to handle this type of mare. (4) ART IDEAL hails from top connections.

Race 12

(5) DR CAL was too far back to threaten in his first trip of the year. Veteran drops a notch and may perk up at this level. (2) HEIDI FALLS just may have lost that winning feeling. Ancient gelding did show some early foot last time at the added distance. (3) J CS JAKE went an improved trip in his qualifier and should be competitive at this level.

Race 13

(8) HURRIKANE SCHMUMMA has been showing up each week and looking a little better every start. Four-year-old faces what appears to be a blank group and may finally get over the hump here. (9) DELICIOUSLYNAUGHTY is another that may try leaving despite the outside draw; two back was a solid effort. (1) THE REAL TONE draws into a spot where she can hit the board.

ELEGANT GAMBLE - I seem to always make money betting Pish horses on the grass. That barn has a powerful win pct for this distance/surface. Faces state bred foes today after finishing fourth versus 'open' company on February 14th. Look for this one to go straight on to victory at some pretty good odds in this race. Ran fourth in last race, but not more than five from the lead at the wire. GRAND OPRY - Mare was in versus 'open company' on February 3rd and should find this group easier to deal with. Taking a trip down the class ladder; has the class ability to make her presence felt. Lets try to beat the low-odds horses with this mare. Just missed last out, but ran a pretty decent race. Based on her last TrackMaster turf fig alone, I'm going to play this animal.

Doubtful to improve enough to run a figure close to today's Equibase class figure, so put her on the vulnerable contenders list. AVERY'S GIRL - This equine doesn't have a conquering mental state. Very often finishes second or third. BIG GREEN EYES - This bunch is a whole lot tougher than the ones she met in the last affair.

I really like that latest race on Feb 6th at Golden Gate where he ended up first. LONDINIUM - Nice return on investment for this jockey and trainer tandem. Last race at Santa Anita, he broke from the far outside. I don't need an advanced degree like The Brain to tell me his inside post today should help.
