Bred by the Christiana Stables, Tempted won the Ladies Handicap here at Aqueduct while carrying 128 pounds and establishing what was then a track and American record for 1 5/16 miles of 2:09. Here in the 42nd running of The Tempted, #6 NAVAJO is the overall speed and pace profile leader, and has hit the board in "POWER RUN FASHION" in both of her two career starts to date, including a "POWER RUN WIN" to break her maiden in her last start, in a race which was contested at today's TrackMaster PLUS Class Level of 84. #1 DAISY comes off a "POWER RUN WIN" to break her maiden in her "first asking," 24 days ago at Parx Racing.
