Search function: is available to see the grade given by Cappersfile, if a handicapper or handicapping website is already in mind.




Handicapper Grading:
Grades for each Cappersfile are derived from an established criteria set including: 3[SUP]rd[/SUP] party monitoring for record validity, guarantee offerings, domain longevity, active posting of results and archiving picks history.

Grades are given to handicappers on a scale of A, B, C, D and F.
A and B level cappers meet most, if not all, milestones that Cappersfile has identified to be considered a trustworthy handicapper.

C level cappers are not considered to be untrustworthy because they so contain some of the milestones that Cappersfile identifies as a trustworthy handicapper.

D and F level handicappers do not present their information as anticipated by Cappersfile.

Handicappers cannot buy their grade from Cappersfile, they must earn it!

SUNSET TIME - I like to bet on this handicapping angle, a racer coming back off a solid effort within the last month. Cruised home victorious as she wired the field just recently at Meadowlands. Quickly turning around to potentially do it again in this event. Won her last after shipping in. I like her again. This filly notched a good speed fig of 88 in her last contest. That figure should be lofty enough to win today. BRIGHTLINGSEA - Equibase speed figures on the grass point to this horse as a legit contender. Has the best in the field for this dist/surf.

LIVIN N' PARADISE - I think this gelding could run back to his winning race from June 8th, when he won a $7,500 Claiming race, a higher class than today's race. This rider/conditioner duo has been producing a very positive ROI, right at +32. Was in a $7,500 Claiming race at Presque Isle Downs last time around the track. That affair had a class number of 88 and he is moving down right here in this race. A certain win candidate. The improved speed figs over the last three races is strong. Puhl drops him in this event ready to win. SLEWS DIXIE BLUE - Have to give this gelding a shot. Ran a good effort last time around the track within the last month or so. The return on investment when Mejias and Vernino get together is out of sight. BOOMER TIME - Just missed hitting the board on Sep 12th at Thistledown. With respectable odds in this race, he has my interest. Look for this gelding to show much better in this field. Last race at Thistledown finishing fourth on a track listed as good is no sign of his true ability.

THIRTY ONE ALWAYS - In the last race it was a nice victory, but this time the stretch drive is going to be a true test of courage. This animal doesn't have a winning temperament. Quite often finishes close, but no cigar. GOTTCHA MY DEAR - Hard to keep chasing this kind of 'bridesmaid' horse. ST ANDREWS - This gelding is always close, but just doesn't finish first. Difficult to play him on the front end.

Top HatGUEST COMMENTARY: Hal - LIVIN N' PARADISE - This gelding looks to be tough against these horses. His last two speed ratings of 83 and 89 are better than today's class rating.

Nun the Less showed his ability first time out on August 9 when second with a nice rally then improved both physically and mentally when winning by six lengths in his second career start. Although both were sprints he is bred to like the added distance and turf, and even if the race moves to the main track that should not pose a problem to his continued improvement and success in this situation as he earned the best last Equibase Figure (88) by far in the field.

Tony Stark was entered for a race like this at a mile on turf in his career debut on 8/31 but the race was moved to the main track. He stayed in the race and led every step, no easy task for a first time starter. With potential to improve both physically and mentally off the 80 figure effort put forth, Tony Stark is the other main contender to earn his 2nd career win.
