Houston has lost seven straight games so laying this small number at home doesn't look like a problem to me. Brian Moehler has made three starts on the road this year and has given up 10 runs in 12.3 innings. Ross Ohlendorf has given up just 8 runs on 18 hits in 24 innings at home this year, good for a 3.00 ERA and 0.92 WHIP. Houston's offense is horrible with only 3 runs per game over the last seven and 3.9 runs per game against right-handers. Lay the small number here.

Forum viewers should take the time ro report the three people Cork mentioned in order to keep some semblence of order in this forum and keep the true people who make this work such as Cork himself.
The report button is the triangle at the bottom left of each post. Once the mods get enough complaints, they will want to keep the desired people and ban the trouble makers. However, we need to support people like Cork and take the time to report the others.

Tonight marks the third series this season between these pair of divisional rivals and both times Milwaukee got lucky and did NOT face one of the National League's best young starting pitchers. Johnny Cueto has been spectacular on the ROAD (3-0, 1.35 ERA) which is why Cincinnati is a road favorite this evening. What catches my attention is that Cueto has worked at least 7 innings in SEVEN consecutive appearances and tonight he faces Braden Looper whose ERA against Cincinnati in a pair of assignments this year (7.71) has been disastrous. One of the few true power sticks in the Cincinnati lineup is Jay Bruce who in a career that spans less than two seasons has already hit EIGHT homers against Milwaukee pitching along with a high .333 battiing average. Milwaukee enters tonight on a 1-5 slide where the offense has averaged only TWO runs per game due to INJURY. The Brewers recently lost secondbaseman Rickie Weeks (wrist) for the season and shortstop J.J. Hardy (backs spasms) has already missed 4 games in the past week. Brewers slugger Ryan Braun was hit on the wrist by a pitch earlier this week and is not 100%. Here is an UNDEFEATED season-angle which sees Cincinnati 8-0 when off 5 consecutive games in front of their own fans
