Fresno plus 21 or 20.5 depending on which shop looks like the right side. They return a solid core of players at the skill positions and I think are the best team in their conference. Last year they had a lot of injuries. They have experience playing big schools on the road. Fullmer at Tennessee is under more pressure after last year's disappointing season. Not sure that his team will respond that well. If Fresno gets a few breaks early, the crowd could turn on the Vols. As long as Fresno limits their turnovers, they should be very competitive in this game. Generally, if you take the better coach and you are getting points, you will win more often then you lose. I like Hill over Fullmer. The line IMO is inflated because of Tennessee's past history. The Vols are breaking in a new set of receivers and I have heard that they have had some significant injuries in camp. Play on Fresno plus the points

Good points but I liked Fresno much better when the line was +24.

Still might be a good play at +21 just not sure yet.

Only an observation. Smalltalk...
The hard core fan base of UT is under exurberant this year. A certain lack of confidence sits on rocky top.All could change with a great opener. But perhaps many sense things are still headed in the wrong direction for that program.

Now if your telling me that they have had sig. injuries in camp this summer.... now that is important info. Not that the fans are a little bummed out or Fullmer is under pressure (EVERY D-1 coach is under pressure). If that's the case Bowden and Co. in Seminole country better stop getting caught or one of these times something is gonna stick to the tephlon (sp?) coach. That program (just like the movie) is as crooked as Wall Street CEO.

If UT is banged up, I will probably take Hill and his boys as they do there road show to all the top colleges in the land that they do every year.

Good Luck to ya this season, and team news is always welcomed with open arms.

If you go to the Sporting News website and pull up Tennessee's homepage, there is an article that describes the extent of the Vols injuries.
I am hoping that Fresno can avoid turnovers and gets some breaks early. How Fresno starts this game will be key. I see the home crowd coming down hard on the Vols if they struggle early. This adds to Fullmer's pressure which is something that he is not used to and how his team will respond to adversity remains a question in my mind.

Also a big plus for FS is the comeback of Berrian a real burner his return will give Pinegar a huge target. PD is not a big stregth #UT this yr and I expct FS to score some, 21 looks real good. The over may be worth a look see.
