Any suggestions. Wanting to help a friend. Single, no kids. Straight forward, simple filing. Any free sites out there or something inexpensive? State & Federal.

general,

turbo tax isnt free but it is very affordable, and extremely easy to use.

i think for state and federal using short form, it would cost about $20 for everything.

I use Turbo Tax personally. I was looking for a free service on the net. What was I thinking? Nothing is free.

Tax Cut was fine. Had to pay $8 to print the State return. Other than, very easy and simple.
