For you younger fellas at the RX, Brian Bosworth was the best damn LB in CFB history

Nope , it's not as bad as you may think, but he never recovered from it, so steamrolling it is!

And Boz is nowhere near the best CFB LB ever. He's barely a candidate for the CFB Hall of Fame, if at all, IMO.

Your view is skewed for some reason.

Guy was a two-time Butkus award winner. Two-time consensus All American and three time all Big 8 but he wasn't that good?

If I'm not mistaken, the Butkus award is given to the nation's best LB.

Boz was right there with all of the greats at his position. But PED's can do some bad things to your body. And then the drug tests come into play along with the injuries you never heal from.

A guy I know got the preview of the film a night early. He said it was amazing. And makes the Marcus Dupree 30 for 30 look like a student film. He said it's the best 30 for 30 that's he's ever seen. And your going to both love him and hate him while your watching it. I knew Bosworth when he was just a freshman kid on the OU football team. He came to work for my company in the 89 day summer jobs program for student athletes back then. He was a pretty spoiled and obnoxious asshole. And a general pain in the ass. I was glad to see him go. A year later I guess he found a good agent, and made his image into the Boz. I guess he's mellowed out over the years...Or else he's putting on a good act.

Did you ever meet or work with Steve "Dr. Death" Williams ?
If so what was he like ?

Fascinating story on Dr Death. He was one of my favorites in NWO, UWF, WCW. He was gonna get a major push in WWF, except for one thing. They went real, and found out he wasn't the legit tough guy he portrayed, and his career was shot.

I never met Dr. Death. I did get to meet Tony Casilias, who was interviewed throughout this Boz piece. He was a great kid. The most gracious OU player I've ever met was Little Joe Washington. I went to a sports celebrity tennis tournament in Vegas back in the 80's and got to meet some of the greats like Walter Peyton, Elvin Hayes and Doctor J. As I was walking out of the Riviera I saw Little Joe sitting alone at a poker table and went over and struck up a conversation. I was pretty much gaga at that point since he is my favorite all time running back. All I remember him saying was it was great to see somebody from Oklahoma out there.

And this automatically puts him in the Hall of Fame? NOT

Yeah, I've thought about that over the years.

Go watch the youtube clip. He didn't really run him over. Bosworth hits him and kind of takes him down to the side. It's not as bad as you think it was.

You are right. Not as bad as I remember. But he still was used. Never lived up to expectations in the NFL.

Bosworth couldnt play on the FSU and Miami teams of that time. Derick Brooks was a beast in college. Never saw LT play at UNC but im sure he was as well.

LT was awesome. He, Hugh Green, Keith McCants, and Derrick Brooks were probably the best college LB's i've seen.

Bosworth was basically Manti Te'o. Not a knock, but not the best either.
