Chiefs were undefeated at home this year and Arrowhead combined with Chief fans are the closest thing to a college homefield atmosphere as there is in NFL. But after looking at home schedule of Chiefs this year, it is very misleading. At home this year they have played Browns,Steelers,Chargers,Raiders,Lions,Bears, and Bills. The only playoff team they played at home was Denver who they beat by 1 point and didn't cover as Dante Hall had his incredible return. Throw in the fact that Colts were 7-1 on road really should negate their advantage. Colts will win this game straight up. Count on it.

I think others know it. I think that I have been addressing this issue all week long. I think its a non factor, not solely based on the Colts 7-1 record on the road this year. But more so on the fact of who they beat and where, and under what conditions as well. This makes me believe that they are road tested and road veterans, especially the for one that matters the most, Peyton.

13 straight wins at home and allowed an average of 14 points per game over that stretch.

If you don't think thats a home field advantage, I don't know what is.

Pancho, based on this year and who KC opponents were they played at home is what we are addressing. These teams they were expected to beat and outscore in the process. But in one of the games they played where the team had any chance , they were losing the majority of the game and needed a KO return to get the lead and win. That was against the Broncos. Indy will be the strongest opponent that KC will face this season and they will be challenged. But for people not to recognize this fact and use stats based on the weak teams they beat at home this year as a way to determine how they will do against this Colts team is just not a smart thing to do.

I think Priest Holmes will have a big day and KC wins by 10-14 points.

Is everyone forgetting how Denver ran over them in the regular season?

Last weeks rout of denver makes everyone forget what a siv Indys defence was.

Granted KC's is no great shakes, but the crowd noise will affect INDY here.

Well Holmes better have a big day or else its going to be a long day for KC.

I dont think anyone forgot how Denver ran on the Colts Def. I think they are remembering how good of a Def guru Dungy is to shut down that run Off with their top RB Portis back.

Denvers controlling the game against KC shows more about KC and their weak Def than Indy's Def. Which is alot better than KC's.

As far as noise is concerned, a 7-1 record on the road at places like TB, NO, Miami, Buff, Cleveland, etc, especially for a constant audible calling QB like Manning is , just tells me that he has his signals with his receivers , backs, and linemen down pat.

I agree on Indy. But before you bet too much check out the injury list on them. It is extensive especially as compared to other playoff teams. Be careful.

Co-captain,

It's going to be pretty hard to do the no huddle offense in Arrowhead. We'll see what happens.

Disgaree as the Colts already play in maybe the loudest stadium in the league. No sweat on the noise. Maybe a play or 2, but a no factor for the game.

Thus all of the hand signals that Manning has.

General, exactly. Peyton and his Off has their hand signals down path. Their 7-1 record on the road this year is just one evidence of this.

Dude you are aware that the home crowd only makes noise when the road team is on offence right?

I am understanding what you say, but i am saying that the Colts will be prepared for noise. That is the least of their worries. Holmes being on top.

What I was trying to say when I started this post that I don't believe noise, field, or even weather will affect Colts performance in this one. If Chiefs are not playing their best ball tomorrow, they will not win. Colts has better defense, more balanced offense, and better kicker. Chiefs defense better show up and even if they do, I don't think they can totally shut down Indy. Chiefs simply need to stop run and run the ball effectively. They will run themselves and be successful, in terms of stopping James and co, that is a different story. This may be more important than pressuring Payton. They need to make Colts one dimensional and I just don't think they will.

I honestly like it when the Colts go one dimensional. They have done better all year this way late to win games. Just let Manning have the game and go home a winner.

KC will be pumped up as this the 1st time they are in the playoffs since 1997.Tony Dungy won a playoff game for a change.Big deal.Payton Mannning finally won a playoff game, that is great.Flush Manning out of the pocket and the man will be eating dirt all day.The hurry up offense should look great in KC, just like they are at home, right? Priest Holmes will finally get to prove himself in a playoff game as he will touch the ball close to 30 times and rush for 150 or so yards. This is a public workout for KC.
I am glad the game is in KC and not indoors at the amusement park.Let's see how Indy's footing will be on the grass compared to the carpet.

Trent Green will not have a big game, look for the former Baltimore receiver to be the difference, can not remember his name, Coilts defence underrated, 7 and 1 on the road this year, impressive.
