Guys, if you can't win money gambling on your own then STOP GAMBLING!!!! I just heard a story from some gambling buddies about a guy that was so desperate he joined a service and lost BIG money with them. I believe it was another GOY. Just gets to me when I hear **** like that. Take this for what's it's worth, money management and not chasing are the two biggest reasons gambler's lose money. Do you really think a pay service would even bother being in business if they truly were that good at picking games? They are liars and scum as far as I am concerned and if this post stops only one person from giving money to one of these places then it was worth the time it took to type this. And for the ones that don't agree with me then I would love to hear your comments as well. Happy Thanksgiving to all of you and spend a little time with your family this weekend.

I have always believed this to....silly to pay for tout picks you have a 50/50 shot on your own just as they do when they flip a coin

No kidding!!

Especially when you have proven PROFESSIONAL sportsbettors giving away free selections right here at the RX and other websites.

NEVER PAY FOR SELECTIONS!!

No need to pay anyone, for the life of me I cannot understand how 90% of gamblers are lifetime losers...yes there are bad years but staying in the game and making corrections on past mistakes, staying disciplined, you cannot lose long term.

Watch "winning edge" with Wayne Allyn Root on Saturday. IF you watch the show you can understand why someone who is new to gambling could fall for it. Of all the mistakes I've made gambling I've never paid someone to make selections for me.

I agree Worldrunner, these shows make me sick. They pray on desperate people who would do anything to win. I am one of the most liberal people you will ever know and don't really care what anyone does, but these guys should not be allowed on TV or the radio.

I understand where your coming from Pete, it does seem like easy cash, but I still have to be able to look at myself in the mirror at night and I just don't think I could do it.

Realistically and truthfully, one cannot blame the touts more than the players putting up the cash for selections.

If people are that stupid..........................oh well.

I totally disagree with you guys on this one.....If I help some loser finally win money that he would spend with or without me then I would be able to look in the mirror just fine.......Plus when you look like me its never hard to look in the mirror...j/k

It's immaturity that causes people to do this. I did it myself a LONG LONG LONG time ago. Called a las-Vegas #. Gave them my credit card info. Which they used fraudently--I had a TERRIBLE BAD TIME OF IT!!

Funny thing---gave up the booze and got very smart!

Maybe it's a growing up process.

I watch Wayne Root religously and everytime I watch him I think to myself "If I didn't know better...I'd probably fork over the $50 for his picks"

He sure makes himself sound like the greatest handicapper ever. He talks about his 91% winning saturdays and his 75% best bet winners etc etc etc.

Fortunately though the guy actually does know quite a bit about handicapping NFL and College and he PROBABLY picks around 55% however... His claims are misleading and NOBODY is going to play every single one of his plays. So eventually they'll get buried following him.

If you know a guy is good, I mean really know and have followed him for years...And he charges you say 100 a week or 200 a month, and your a nickle ,dime a game bettor, what difference does it make?...I honestly don't have the time to gamble everyday and follow it the way it needs to be ...If i could find someone I felt comfortable with i would pay 100 a week, even 200...

I have the perfect business model for what a perfect tout would be like.......I think you could really help people....If you suck and your ugly you need to get a hooker so why is it different if you suck and go to a tout for picks.....DOnt worry boys if Petey JR does turn tout he will still post his picks at the RX....lol

Handicapping is 100% marketing. If you're a marketing man... You should go into handicapping.

I heard a story once of this scammer (freind of a freind of a freind) who started a web site proclaiming to be a handicapping guru winning 80% of his games. On his site he posted things like:

Week 1 14-2
Week 2 13-3
Week 3 ......etc.

After he built his site, he then went to sports forums like this one and he would post something to this effect: "Guys, check this guy out...hes winning 80% and I made a killing".

Now, experienced posters dont buy this crap but alot of people do and hand over their cash for that "inside information"

My freind claims this guy raked in $80k in just a few months and then shut the site down.
