As an onlooker with no vested interest (I don't know either of you, and am out of contention myself), I'd like to ask you to please look in the mirror and then tell us in all honesty that you are behaving like a true sportsman. Come on bud, be honest now. Remember, your avatar is mine and SporetSavant's beloved Senators.

If you don't want to risk losing a place in the top 5, then don't make any picks. But copying your closest competitor's? This isn't chess.

Scripter, we can sympathize with you, but man you can't go to war with him over this, as his actions are not outside of the rules. Not this particular pool's rules anyway.

Guys, the Hockey forum is practically the one and only place in the whole Rx where nobody ever seems to flame another, where gentlemen exchange ideas and information and can post picks without fear of criticism or ridicule.

Let us all strive to preserve this sanctuary.

Ok k I copied his picks a couple of times....
I’m not a professional or anything….. I’m just a student trying to make some extra money… Maybe that was not the most honest thing to do… But after posting picks for a whole season last year getting 30 units up in the 2nd half contest and not getting anything, I was afraid that I was gonna lose a spot in the top 5 and take nothing again…. But heeey, I just might stay out of the 5th place…. It has all come down to the wire…

Yes I did. I was 10 more units up cause I didn’t have any 3 picks per day rule.... I was betting on all of my picks all season long... Maybe except yesterday.... I would never play all that chalk...

As for you…. You proved that you’re a very good capper, at least the last 2 years I’ve been around here and you should get more respect…
