For $100 - $200 better, how do you recover from a -$1,800 figure?

Don't know about you, but this is the 2nd year in a row where I have got killed the week prior to March Madness! :finger: ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NOTE TO SELF!!

TAKE THE WEEK BEFORE AND 1ST WEEK OF MARCH MADNESS OFF!! :nohead:

Looks to me like 70% of the players around here got their ass handed to them this week.

I'm taking a few weeks off to get my shit back together. :nopityA:

This is bull. You cannot keep losing and not change anything.

You need to do two things, in my opinion.

1. Lower your bet size. You lost a bunch, so it would be best if you made your plays worth $50 or $75.

2. Re-evaluate your capping mehodology. Which games did you lose? Did you play games because they were on TV? Did you do better on sides or totals? Did you lose your big bets and win the small ones? You need to do a little work.

Look and think a bit more evaluating each game you're playing...

I don't know if there is a solution if you can't pick winners. Money management is key...but that is after you are able to pick winners.

I still like my idea of betting the $200 three team parlay. It will pay at least $1200. I mean you are down $1800 and that sounds like a lot of money to you.

I am go to guess that another $200 wont mean much. Also it appears that you need this money back real quick. That is the only way to do it.

By the way, make sure and take 3 underdogs in the parlay rather than favorites

Grab a fat bonus. After a brutal day (or week) I go into bonus hunting mode.

I started with a bankroll of 5K on Thursday and now down to $3,140.

Thanks for the advice.

These numbers are similar to what I've gone through this last week. I bet stupid games like George Washington -4 2nd half and games like that. I had no business putting $100 on a team I didn't know that much about.

I also followed some good cappers and they went through some bad streaks. That doesn't mean they aren't good. I'm just lowering my bet amount and playing fewer bets. It actually feels better to only have a few bets a day rather than 20 per day like I was playing.

At this point about $100 should be max bet, a $200 3-teamer probably won't hit and cost two big bets.

You could send $100 to USsportsbook and get a $100 FP, send $1000 to Canbet next Thursday get a $100 bonus, $100 to Trojan for $50 bonus,11% bonus at Oly, and lots more coming grind it back over a few weeks instead of the parlay shot.

The parlay is chasing.

Innco - I think we've all been in this situation one time or another. Don't think that your alone. When I start to lose one game after another betting the line, I begin to bet the moneyline (small) just to get a few winners on my back and not lose my hopes completely.

Be strong and good luck.

Reduce bet size a bit, if you had 10k, and were betting $100, now have 8k, bet $80. Increase when you get it back.

Why play it safe. Go for the gusto.

Bet with a guy named Action. His picks are in the NCAA-BKL section.
Maybe 200-600 per game. Whatever you feel comfortable with.
Three winners in a row {X $600 ea.} & you're back to 5G.

From a book stand point do not chase as the others said, recover and then try to chip away if you are still in the game for future weeks.

Re-analze your handicapping procedure.
If OK - just keep on wagering.

Thanks.
