Is there any sportsbooks out there other than PINACLE that don't hit you with a 20 cent line?

Example:Steelers (-3) -120 Titans (+3) +100
Jets(-3) -115 Cowboys +3 -105

Lots of books do it for online bettors. Give it a year or two and I think -107 will be quite common and -105 on NFL sides will be prevalent too. If anything can support a dime line its NFL sides, not MLB sides.

Aint that the truth but books love dealing pointspread at a 20 cent straddle. The you have MLB which is the easiest sport to beat and they deal 10 cent straddles. Makes absolutely no sense!

Yes, it does make financial sense for the books to go with -110 or they wouldn't do it. Many many people are willing to pay that much vigorish for football.

After doing some checking around on tip-ex there seems to be a few books we can add to the dimeline list.

MEGA SB
LAS PALMAS
CAN BET (15cent line)

Any comments (good or bad)on the first two books on the list?

Thanks MV

every book will have to go to -107 or they will go out of business.

I think Greek is on the way out if they do not change and stop price gouging the hell out of players.

I agree with JJGold...I am not picking on any one Sportsbook but its clear that many of the so called "top sportsbooks" are price gouging us with excessive juice.

No reason to do this in NFL, its simply pure greed to make as much as possible during the 17 weeks plus P/O...so now they can deal you a 20 cent baseball line... "Hey you don't like it go play somewhere else pal" attitude.

Learn the definition of 'hold' before you start using the terminology incorrectly. Its misleading to novices.

Thats directed to Maximum value, not max1234 (or maxy, as jj so fondly calls him). Maxy is actually one of the few here who knows what he's talking about.

I agree it does not concur with your "gambling terms dictionary" that you got sitting by your computer but some locals that deal only with cash up front refer to juice as HOLDING on to the juice in case of a loss.

Example: Bookie says I need $100 for the bet and $10 for the juice that needs to be HELD on to in case of a loss.

Me and my partners just got use to calling the juice HOLD MONEY because we know we will get it back if we win.

I agree this could throw a newbie off...my bad.

Doc.. Trust Me I do know what I am talking about so know lets see if you can explain to the class the correct definition of the word "HOLD".

Wrong again, genius.

I've only been playing offshore for two years. Fill in the blanks.

The hold on -110 each way is 4.55% or 10/220. My lot in life is not to sit here and explain simple mathematics to you or anyone else. If your that interested you'll pick up a book and learn for yourself. Good luck.

Relax pal ...your the one who came into my thread, I dont need to learn something I already know.

It seems you have time to sit around and correct peoples so-called correct "gambling terms " errors, nothing wrong with that because you are helping alot of people
