Simply because we (at least most of us) understand its not over until the clock reaches 0:00. Anything can happen.

How many games today did we see poor coaching or clock managment at the end? Then teams lost or they almost lost because of it.....Miami/Hou, ATL/Chic, STL/Wash, Det/Minny, Philly/SF, Dal/AZ!

Possess the ball. Simple. Dont be quick to score or kick a FG. If you possess the ball and keep getting first downs the other team has no shot.

So may of these coaches overlook this and dont worry about giving the ball back to their opponent with time left on the clock.........

i agree

i get involved with all aspects of the game

coaches chicken out way too much on 4th n short, if u cnt gt a yard then u dnt deserve to win anyways

coaches punt way to much inside the teams 40, for what, to kick it in the endzone and gv up 10-15 yards

coaches never punt to the sideline inside the 10

coaches never take advantage of the 2pt conversion, be a man be 40 and go for 2 once in a blue moon

and never play for the fg late in the game, i have seen o too many times the block the easy miss or the bad snap. so u mite fumble, o lord u might just miss the fg, get it blocked or bad snap

and there is a stupid rule late in a game where the off can false start and the off can take a to or have a 10 sec run off. if its seconds to go and 2nd or 3rd dwn false start and eat a free 10 secs
