so if florida is -15 in title game, does that make georgia -21 since they beat up on the gators pretty easily?

yeah they beat a one armed tebow, a healthy tebow and no one in ncaa football can hang with them. a shame we'll have to watch a couple second rate teams play for the national title

I agree with JJ & others. Tebow is the most exciting college player since
Staubach in 63. I never rooted for Florida before Tebow now as long as he's there I'm a fan. He's a throwback to the single wing tailback of the past. With Tebow & Harvin healthy who would pick WestVirginia or Missouri over Florida not me! Tebow should win the Heisman by a mile.

for everybody touting florida, how can you defend a 3 loss team? tebo was healthy for lsu and auburn, and florida lost. one lose can be a fluke, but not three. if the argument is that florida is better than wva or missouri or they are playing the best ball right now, maybe so. however, florida doesn't deserve to play for the championship this year with the current system in place. however, with a playoff system, they wold obviously be one of the favorites....

if floridas toughest games were kansas, ou, and okst, they wouldnt have any more than one loss either. the teams with one loss like osu, mizz, and wvu really have no good wins. mizzou had a decent win tonight, but really...kansas isnt any better than south carolina.

WV beating Cinci at Cinci is a very good win, just doesn't get the national headlines. Cinci is a damn good team.

no team with losses to louisville And pitt is all that good, imo. granted, they're a tough team and thats a good win, but cinci wont send as many players to the league as lsu, tenn, fla, sc, auburn, bama, uga, or ark. that doesnt mean they're worse than all of those teams of course, but they dont have a load of talent. a tough win over cinci doesnt make for much of a resume for a national title. thats fine because other teams have lost more games...but wvu hasnt played much of a schedule.

The bottom line is that it doesn't matter because you will never know. I don't see Oregon and OU fans on here bitching and moaning because their QBs were hurt and ruined their National Championship hopes. Tebow was obviously healthy enough to play, which is more than can be said for the two teams mentioned above. On top of that Florida lost at home to a very mediocre Auburn team with Tebow healthy and then lost at LSU. Their National Championship hopes were done before they lost to GA. I'm not sure it would have mattered that much against GA if Tebow was full strength. Tebow doesn't play D and GA was running it down their throat at will. I WVU and Mizzou's defense, I would agree Florida would probably beat them, but you never know in College football as people said Florida would get handled last yr., Texas in 05, LSU in 03, OSU in 02, and OU in 2000. Until we get a playoff noone will ever know. Until that happens I tip my hat to the teams that are still in it, which does NOT include Tebow and the Gators.

Did Tebow give up the 42 points?
