Unless you're in Big 10 country, the NFL is better than the NCAA.

Nothing beats a Northwestern vs. Indiana game

Fish, why your disgust with the Dance, where the best teams in the country all play on at minimum semi-neutral floors, and must run a 6-0 gauntlet to win the title?

Sure, it has some bogus seedings and 1st and 2nd Rnd floor edges of which usually are aiding and abetting Duke and ACC teams most, but still seems quite equtable compared to some of the days past where league champs only advanced(at least one USC team that finished 2nd to a Wooden UCLA Dynsaty Champ..was the 2nd best in the land..yet no Dance)..

Hell, the Dance is even far more equitable than are NCAA Baseball Sub-Regionals and Regionals are, which played at the home of the top teams due primarily due to attendace dollars.

Make the BIG DANCE at least DOUBLE ELIMINATION for starters.

But will not happen, because fans like you want to believe in CINDERELLAS and the vast majority of the time, a FALSE CHAMPION.

Don't really care though, CBB was ruined years ago with the shot clock, 64 teams making the tourney, and putting in a lousy 3-point rule from girls range.

Honestly I like the NFL way more. It's PRO football. The best in the world. I didn't have to watch 1 game this year in CFB and could have picked most of the top 10. Love that Michigan versus Illinois game every year, those are fun. half the games are 20 point blowouts. Any given Sunday in the NFL and it holds true (inless your a Lions fan,LOL).

NFL is the best players in the world, salary cap and draft make for a fair league. I don't watch minor leage hockey or baseball, can't stand the WNBA and not much of a colloege hoops fan because I want to see the best athletes perform, not the 2nd tier. Their is no idenity with cfb. I can't (and I guarantee most can't) name 25 cfb players in the nation. You root for a helmet. And the icing on the cake is this crap, where everyone is left with an emplty feeling in their stomachs.

How abut Boise St? How fair is that. Like it or not, how can you tell a team before the season that if you win ALL of your games than people will still say you don't deserve a chance. What a mess. It's the same shit every year. Same teams are good and same teams are bad. There are stupid rules, universities cheat all the time or at least no one talks about it. Than people vote on who think should be the champions. Thank god they do this in other sports or the Yankees would have 10 another rings.

Tell you the truth I really don't know why I got involved in this thread. If it were not for gambling I wouldn't even pay attention to this. And to think the NFL is by far my favorite sport.

That was sweet, so is Rutgers if the impossible doesn't happen. Just need Oregon State to bring home the doggy trifecta today.

"Fans" like me?..I'd much rather the Dance be a double-elimination tourney(like Omaha used to be)..can't stand the collegiate arc(2.5 to 3 ft too short)..don't like the current shot-clock's short length..but do like the expanded 64 from 48 format.

If the Dance is bogus to you, then this BCS crap and Baseball Subs and Regionals at home..must really be Mickey Mouse in your eyes.

Yes, most sports are Mickey Mouse to me.........other than high school and lower........where it is real.

Again, a gambler here, could care less really.......

Something to consider
<HR style="COLOR: #fdde82" SIZE=1><!-- / icon and title --><!-- message -->LSU supposedly already sold 30,000 + Rose Bowl tickets. If Florida goes to the title game, it would be Mich vs USC in the Rose, creating a logistical nightmare for the Rose Bowl and those LSU fans who bought tickets and made reservations. This will help the case for Michigan.

Sad to think something like this would matter. Even sadder to think if USC had made one more big play today they would've been in. The game I love has been so tarnished.

Bottom line when asked to vote it should have absolutely NOTHING to do if it is a rematch. That isn't the question. The question is "who are the 2 best teams in the land?", peorid. End of story. If you think it is Florida then that is fine but to say that you don't want to see a rematch is BULLSHIT. If Michigan would have played today I can almost guarantee they would still be ahead of Florida but instead they will jump them because they didn't have a game today and this my friends is why College Football is the dumbest sport going. What a joke!!!! They vote on who it the best team, think about that and this will always be the main reason the NFL is 10X better than college.

Ice...agree / disagree with all of the post because:

1) Florida = conference champs
2) Florida = toughest conference
3) Florida = toughest schedule in the country this year.

I live in Michigan....all my life (36 years). Bottom line is Michigan didn't play today, or last week. This is the problem with the Big 10. Florida deserves to play, no question in my mind.

On another note, gotta love that Tigers avatar!!! :103631605 :103631605 :103631605
