This is sickening beyond belief. Saw this shit on the news last night and was sickened by it.

http://www.nbcmiami.com/news/local/Team-6-Investigates-Vet-May-Lose-License-260050771.html

"One employee said “There is a container of testicles and ovaries and all that stuff removed from animals that were neutered and spayed in a freezer. And day by day they normally take some out to put in the food to be able to feed the dogs in the back.” “There were some animals that didn’t want to take it so I literally had to shove it down their throat so I was like what is the purpose?”

This is horrible. I'd hate to know what he does with the animals he has to euthanize. Or even how many he may euth that don't need it.

I surely hope his license is going to be revoked.

Not seeing the outrage.

Just protecting the bottom line. Why throw them away when it can be utilized for food.

They put horse meat in dog food.

Read the entire article. Animals died from using recycled needles. They would take dogs and use them for blood transfusions without telling the owners.

Utilized for food? Most didnt want to eat it so it was forced down their throats.

no horse meat in my dog food. There is venison, elk, and duck though.

the bottom line is if a vet will do this then what else unethical will they do?!? Oh yea, blood transfusion with dirty needles and without the owners consent.

Glad ad to know you don't mind if that happens to you or your animal.

Why do people only post these kind of stories when they happen in Florida? I'm going to have to change the location on my profile.

This shit unfortunately happens everywhere on a daily basis. I do not want to share the stories I see daily at the local shelter.

this world is full of heartless cowards.

Yes because the animals are aware that they are being fed ovaries and testies.

Some people love caviar, some people are repulsed by it. Probably the same for dogs and cats. Don't judge.

I also love how you imply that if it is O.K. for a beast then it must be O.K. for human consumption. Nice try.

Yea, like that dog food that contains venison, elk, and duck contains no part of their bodies that would repulse you. Yep probably all white meat.

Well considering duck isn't white meat, you're completely right on something anyways.

i would totally eat my dog food if I had to. Why? Because I know exactly where it comes from.

As a former partial owner of Eagle Pack...you'd be fucking shocked what goes into dog food. Even the high dollar "all natural" ones. Funny the ingredients that they don't list that is added. Damn near ZERO regulation in the pet food industry.
