Eye of storm could be very near game site at kick-off.

Right now, the weather channal is calling for up to 6 inches of rain and winds gusting to 35 mph for the area on FRIDAY. Saturday they are calling for showers and 17 mph winds.

However, when looking at the National Hurricane Center map, it looks like Saturday could be expecting more.

Not sure what to make of all this.

PINNACLE opened the total at 49.5 and it is now down to 46.5........game holding fairly steady at Tennessee -3.

doubt it will be an EYE fish but a boatload of rain.....

2 years ago at home the vols fumbled 5 times in the biggest downpour that I have ever sat through. Vols have been practicing wet ball drill all week. Gators practiced in the rain all summer. Apparently Chris Leak throws a good wet ball.
Shields -Watkins field has one of the highest crests of any field in the SEC - very good drainage.

A number of games in the Southeast region of the country will be affected by severe rain and wind on Saturday. One such game will be the West Virginia/Maryland game. Current forecast calls for heavy rain on game day. Just adding to the list.

fla. owns tenn. in any rain game!!!
dates back to tenn. having a 31-7 lead and getting 48 unanswered dropped on them. ever since; whenever it rains; the vols. whither up.

Ivan is not going to stall and will be out of here by saturday morning.. Not the torrentia; rains as expected before. maybe some a little on and off through sunday
