Florida State To Prohibit Fans From Wearing "Indian" Headdresses At Games

FSU's politically correct student government has passed an ordinance that restricts fans
from wearing native American headdresses at all school sporting events. They claim it
"inaccurately depicts the culture of the Seminole Tribe." The PC student government is
fighting to make the ordinance a violation of the school's code of conduct, but it has yet
to be passed.

Yep, a safe zone for Indian headdresses at the FB stadium, BB arena, BB field etc.....

Damn.....I always liked those "war bonnets".....The PC loony's are banning everything. A lot of my Indian friends are really getting pissed off with these bans. They're saying, "now we aren't good enough for you anymore".

In the past the PC crowd tried to make the school abandon the Seminole mascot name.
That didn't go over too well with the native indians. The name change idea was abandoned
as a result. You'd think they learned from their own faux pas and this time they would actually
ask the tribal leadership what they have to say about all of this first.

Personally I think the head dresses are beautiful things and if I were a Seminole Indian it would
do me proud to see them on display at a contest of warriors. This is a sort of recognition here
that is in no way making fun of or disrespecting anyone. They are honoring a tradition by showing
them off at games.

Or perhaps FSU should change the name of its mascot to the "Cardinal" (like the "Stanford Indians")
so everyone gets to wear red. Then again that's California-style PC and it should go no further than
the land of fruits and nuts.

Rumor has it that FSU is going to rescind the ban on wearing Seminole war bonnets to their football games (partially). They must be limited to no more than (6) feathers, no longer than (8") in length and they must come from ostriches grown in the State of Florida. The word is that the Native Americans(Seminole Tribe) are really pissed-off about this ban....I don't blame them. Rotten P/C filtering over, into sports (football).

I also heard that "pig skin" will soon be banned when it comes to footballs, too offensive to some ...more "sickness. I draw the line when this crap filters over into sports (football).

The "Tomahawk Chop" is annoying in many ways but keep in mind Sooner that most of the "choppers are already drunk when the chant sets-in right before the kick-off; The instigator......(mostly Jack Daniels.....Still #7).

What about ABUSING a number of horses pulling a covered wagon around the field on game day. The horses could break a leg, run over some student,
or maybe just kill someone in an accident. The cruelty to these horses is barbaric to say the least. Fuck Oklahoma and their abuse of
beautiful horses. The university needs sensitivity training and fast.
