Believe it or not Fish, I would much rather live in Fla. Everything is about 1/3 the cost, roadtrips are an option, the games go off in the evening instead of the morning, and the FISHING IS BETTER.


Unfortunately, my wife is a "local girl" who will never live any other place than Hawaii.

I am thinking of taking a few of the fellas deep sea fishing here if they are interested.........catch the strip clubs after a day of fishing.......possibly on Friday.

Fish- I tell you what, come March if you are up to it, I will take you to a strip club in Miami that will have you thinking of relocating. I use to swear by Tampa, but it is nothing like Miami. Still second best is not all bad!

What is the main catch? Mackeral or Sail Fish.....I grew up in the Ft.Pierce- Port St. Lucie area which is an eight mile drive north of Stuart which claims to be the Sail Fish capitol of the world. Going to be fun..I needed something to smile about after yesterday.

This sounds like a blast! Fla rocks. Ybor City has some great eateries. Fla is my favorite place to vacation and fish (I like to go bone fishing in the Keys). I would seriously love to go, but my wife would kill me if I ran off around New Years. It is such a big cultural thing in Hawaii (mochi pounding with the family, EATING RAW FISH [sashimi] firecrakers, etc.). Plus the 5000 mile plane ride each way is pretty gnarly (but not impossible). Put me down on the "will live vicarously through BigBet" list.

On Friday nights, the HARD ROCK lays out one of the finest seafood buffets in the city.........if not the very best!!

I hope they will have it on New Years Eve, since it is a Friday.

I will be checking on all this in person tommorow at the Hard Rock.

Only strip clubs I'VE been to in Tampa is Ybor Strip, Deja Vu, Mons Venus and some dump other side of interstate from Mons. Im sure Ybor area will be crazy that night. Lots to do in sunshine state. Could not live anywhere else. I'm in shorts 99% of time.

Maybe we could have some sort of a mini-event this year. Maybe the BOS bus will come to a playoff game, maybe IOWA will roll back into town, maybe the lightning will have a deal on tickets. I'm gonna start a roll call thread.

I'm in...I think Iowa has a real good shot at coming back to FL as well. Need Penn St and Ohio St to win this weekend...puts them both in BCS games. Need Iowa win and that leaves Michigan, Wisconsin, Iowa, and NW all tied for 2 spots in FL. Michigan will be a definite and I think Iowa would be the other one chosen. We all got to witness the best bowl game in years last year...here's hoping for another!! :toast: :drink:
