2 outs for Nebraska, they get two jam-job bloop singles that just fall over the outstretched infielders, and then a basehit to score a run. If college used wooden bats, those would be broken bat infield flies.

Nebraska with a nice clutch hit to make those runs count, but then Boss gets a huge groundball out to 3rd, with 2nd and 3rd 2 outs, to get the final out.

He is a stud, I never debated that. I told you the Gators would NOT pitch him over the plate or in, they wouldnt give him anything to hit. They are keeping it away and if he misses his spot he is missing awway. They wont allow him to extend.

They'll keep it away, they dont want to run the risk of missing over the middle and allow him to do any damage. He can keep hitting it to left all he wants, his power is to the pull side, not the opposite field.

The vulnerable 5th for Boss, if he gets through this inning with 1 run or less, the Gators have a good chance to pull this game off.

Boss gives up back to back singles through the infield, then gives up a single in the gap, thats bobbled and allows the 2nd run to score. Bad inning after getting the first two guys out.

Sidewinder O'Day will come in which is usually the Gator closer. 2 outs man on.

O'Day gets the strikeout on 3 pitches and he looks nasty tonight.

Gators threaten with a HBP, and yet another hit for Corsaletti who is 4-4 with 3 doubles and a single. But Davis swings at the first pitch and flies out down the RF line.

O'Day goes through and gets the first two outs and brings up Gordon with no one on and 2 outs which is great for Florida. Gordon finally singles to center which brings up LedBetter, and he strikes out looking. The 2 dangerous hitters and the top of the lineup fall quietly for Nebraska.

I still feel we were on the right side on our earlier game winning 7 innings and ominating the whole time, but we took a bad loss. We get that money back with this one!
