What a joke. This fee is a total ripoff! Last Winter, I went to an ATM machine to use my B of A, check card to get a couple of hundred. The machine was out of cash! It was a Sunday. Of course there was no fee charged and never is.

I was thinking of getting this card, but I see the hassles allready with that"denial fee"!

Keep working on it guys, I know there is a better way to rip off people than a "denial fee"!

I don't know, but denial is likely only charged if YOU don't have money in your account to cover the withdrawal. If the ATM is out, I doubt you are charged.

But don't know for sure.

There's lots of angles for then to play the "denial fee card".

Maybe you accidently punch in one number or letter of your password incorrectly=denial!
Or Maybe-the ATM machine no longer accepts whatever system this card is on=denial.
Let me tell ya--If it's about trying to overdraw the funds---That is hilarious to start with!

omt - Not saying this couldn't happen, but I think BetPanAm is more interested in providing good customer service than making their money on $2 fees.

But to each his own in terms of using them. Their card does seem to offer lower fees than most other cards if used properly and using no fee ATMs.

oldmantime -

Consider this: The "denial fee" may be when you are trying to take out monies when you do NOT have the sufficient balance in your account to do so"

IB and others. It's very nice to be trusting of others and maybe, I've just seen a few things in my time that have turned me sour.

If someone else has my funds and I ask for more than They have--that could be interruperted a couple of different ways--and since that person "may"be tring to get something that is not rightfully his to start with--then a simple $2.00 fee is a joke!
I guess it's like DWI--you know it's wrong, but what the hell the fee is only $2.00 which is laughable.
