Preparing to abandon my beautiful mobile home. I'm100 yards from of the largest lakes inFlorida, Lake Apopka. All I am taking is my computer, Homer Hankies(framed of course), my Hawkeye plaque(that I stole of the wall of some bar in Iowa City while in a drunken stupor), some books and clothes. My last post for awile. Probably not til I visit Fishhead sometime. I hope my bro has computer hookup in Jax. My mobile home wasn't even touched last time with Charley. Don't know if I will be lucky this time. I live in west part of Orlando. Warren Sapps hometown, Apopka. Really fear for my fav strip bar in Cocoa.

American telephoned me today regarding my scheduled flight to Fort Lauderdale tomorrow. Bottom line is I had to cancel my cruise since they can't guarantee getting me there by Sunday even, for the delayed departure of the ship.
So I'm down to 2 weeks away, Atlantic City and Bermuda cruise.
Probably as well, don't fancy arriving in hurricane weather.
Good news is I'll be able to see the first games of the football season!
