Always been a proponent of taking the pts with ISU in this contest year in and year out....................not so this season.

Thought the line would come Iowa -8.5, so at the current number of -6.5, the game is a pass on this end.

Dumb statement by someone smart enough to know better. Apparently the last 3 years when Iowa won it was their fucking super bowl. I would like to hear from one Hawkeye fan what Iowa State does different to make this their Superbowl game than Iowa does to prepare for this game. The difference in the game yesterday was the play of Iowa State's QB who is from California playing his second game in the state of Iowa. Do you think he really cared more about this game than Iowa's QB who grew up in the state of Iowa and didn't get recruited by Iowa State? Great atmosphere for a game yesterday.

Yes, it's ISU's SUPERBOWL every year, no game means more to them year in and year out......................HECK, no ISU victory is more satisfying for you than when ISU defeats the Hawkeyes, am I right?


Then, as is usually the case, ISU goes into a shell for the reminder of the season and does squat, as is evidenced by them not winning a conference title in what, over 100 years????
