The vaccines have been researched for decades, not twelve months. The vaccines have been tweaked for COVID 19, much like the flu shots are tweaked every year. I think because of the very high infectious rate and higher than usual mortality rates, especially among older demographics, it's obviously getting more attention than any other vaccine in modern history.
People are inherently good. Researchers and scientists and medical professional are not trying to harm us. When good and smart medical professionals I know and trust give me advice, I tend to listen to them.

Midday felt like I needed a nap and I was becoming concerned because I have no time to be anything less than 100%. No reason for me to feel fatigued other than a side effect
Got through it, woke up, another good day
Get home tonight, my arm hurts a little when I move it. Nothing at all that even bothers me
I'm told the second day is the worst, and the second shot is worse than the first shot. Will know soon enough
