University of Buffalo alum here. The reason I like the play is: 1- QB Joe Licata-- this dude is poised and he has very high football IQ. The kid can make all of the throws and he has some solid skill position players he can get the ball to. Week two at Penn state he hung in there and made some very impressive throws. 2- Bowling Green has a terrible defense that has given up a ton of yards and points so far this season. 3- most important for me is coaching. This new coach, and staff is arguably the best they have had since becoming an FBS school. Coach Leipold is a very smart coach, and his resume of success carries with it an attitude and a belief that has been passed down to the players.
