Up until this point I felt I didnt have enough knowledge to post picks but Ive had a fairly strong couple seasons following the bases so I figure nows the time. Hit Detroit last night for a nice gain and I'm sitting at about +1.25 units for the season.

Thanks for the welcome, although I have been scowering around here for a couple years, I still do appreciate it.

OAK is ready to break out of its 10 game losing streak to a club that is playing, in my opinion, worse then the A's have been, at least over the last couple series'. The A's could easily have taken 3 of 4 from the Jays but it didn't happen and that's how she goes sometimes. Bottomline is the A's will not get swept by Detroit. The value of the game is too good to pass up.

The Mariners had everything working towards them last night and only managed to get 1 run off arguably Tampa's worst starter. King Felix was dominant as can be easily taking care of a tired Tampa offence. However tonight the more rested bats will find it a little easier facing Silva who's given up almost 2 hits an inning in his last 10 starts.

Ive been staying away from totals lately as they have been running inconsistently for me. However I did enjoy the TEX/NYY starters last night making the 11.5 look retarded.

3 small plays today:

<TABLE border=1><TBODY><TR><TD noWrap>Spread </TD><TD noWrap align=right> 44.00 </TD><TD noWrap align=right> 40.00 </TD><TD noWrap> Baseball - 918 Toronto Blue Jays -1½ -110 for Game </TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>
<TABLE border=1><TBODY><TR><TD noWrap>Money Line </TD><TD noWrap align=right> 54.00 </TD><TD noWrap align=right> 40.00 </TD><TD noWrap> Baseball - 921 Boston Red Sox -135 for Game </TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>
<TABLE border=1><TBODY><TR><TD noWrap>Total </TD><TD noWrap align=right> 41.60 </TD><TD noWrap align=right> 40.00 </TD><TD noWrap> Baseball - 925 Texas Rangers/Baltimore Orioles under 10½ -104 for Game </TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

Byrd is career 0-3 pitching in Toronto. The Indians bats dont come to play when Byrd pitches against the Jays and they'll have even more trouble today facing the best pitcher in the game.

Great value for the Red Sox at -135 with Dice K on the mound facing Contreras who has a career 9.12 ERA facing Boston. That number jumps to 12.27 when considering his last 3 starts. Look for the Bosox to come out flying after last nights loss.

Two aces on the mound, the Rangers bats are hanging out somewhere in Antarctica and the line is still at 10.5? Money

2-1 on the night for a small gain. Thankfully I didnt take the ML on the Jays or it would have cancelled out the other two games.
