and a great fourm..with a load of knowledgeable cappers...

I’m from the great White North.. Canada..Hockey..is my focus ...

I have a book... ( 365 ) and also play Pro Line ( Ont )

And hopefully I can gain an inside track on your thinking

I would like to start of by asking a question...related to...

.....Parlays...... ( hockey would be the sport )


1/ why is this type of wager so popular ....

2/what type of parlay systems would work to your advantage

3/ when your parlaying up to 5 to 6 games...do you look for 1 or 2 or 3keys and box the rest of the games..or take 2 keys with wins and ties .......

4/ what are your favourite parley systems.. or theories or multiple combinations

Any impute on the above would greatly be appreciated...and once again... tip my hat off to you on the

I'm not much of a hockey or even a parlay player. I basically stick to straight bets, so i wouldn't be much of a help, but i'm sure someone will help you out soon. Just wanted to welcome you again.

but,,, I do sometimes Play for fun I will throw in a heavy Favorite,,,,, with a -110 team with a Long shot,,,, all Moneyline Parlays,,,,

I usually lose,,,,, hahahhah

Cash - welcome to The Rx. A few things about sportsbetting.


1) Bet more when you are winning and less when you are losing;
2) Always shop for the best price on the game you are playing;
3) Never bet a game because it is on TV and you have nothing to do, unless you have a strong opinion on the game;
4) Bet more on the games you love and less on the games you like. This is important because often I hear about someone betting a meaningless Wednesday hockey game and losing a bundle and then winning a tiny amount on the NFL game he/she talked about all week long.


I "borrowed" this info from some excellent handicappers at another web-site. Pretty sure they will not mind helping a new player out.

Please don't hesitate to ask questions in the sport forums, you will see more traffic there, and get more responses. If ever you need any kind of help and don't want to post it publicly feel free to contact any of the moderators here at the Rx.

hey c n r gl i play 1-2 aday 5-8 teams 4 abuck or 2 never more its crazy but 90% of the time i lose 1 game so i play straight bets on what i like 3-4 games aweek theres a reason detroit -/ -250 at home 30-6-4-0 if you play parleys keep $ small GO LEAFS GO

Welcome. I'm new myself. Just curious, what do your thoughts are regarding all the hype surrounding the recent news coverage about hockey being a violent sport? I mean, I just don't get it. Violence up north? I thought canada was the friendliest state in the Union. I booked a trip to watch the F1 races in Montreal in June, based on the friendliness factor (and the hot-chicks-dig-cold-weather factor) Seen any high-stix lately?

I've been reading the posts on college and NFL football for a year-registered a while ago but have finally started posting.
I parlay football but stick to 2 or 3 team parlays-hitting 4 teams and more can get very difficult. It's always that one game! If I really like a game I will bet $ on that ONE game and back it in parlays.
I recommend you reading WINKYDUCK's (user id)
posts on the hockey forum-he knows his stuff! He's very knowledgable about football, basketball, hockey and even arena football.
I've known him for years and he'll answer your posts about a certain game-he's in all the forums!

CASH_n_RUN: If you are into the Ontrio Pro-line like I 'am since we are located in Ontario, the best bets to beat pro-line with are the college games in football and basketball. Their lines are so tilted to the fav that come game time you can easily find some in college foots that are off of the actual line by 4-7 points and in college basketball(that is where I take my tax money back from the thieving Liberals) you will run into lines that are 4 or 5 points off of the line. With a 5 point spread on the TIE option in pro-line college basketball paying $2.30 - $4.00, you can hit them for some good cash. I had a "shot in the dark 12 teamer this year that hit and of course it was only a fvcking toonie, but it paid $2000. I was cashing tickets at a rate of 2-5 a day and made about $6000 of the pro-line and spread just by watching the lines at PINNACLE. They are the sharpest and the quickest to move the right way. Pro-line does not change their odds,, look at the Boston College and St. Johns basketball game after 9 of St, Johns students were suspended from the team the line offshore went to -9 for B.C and covered it with flying colours and proline had it set at -.5 for St, Johns... EASY MONEY IN THE FALL
