Hey guys whats goin on? It's my first post of NFL plays here. I am doing pretty well thus far. I am doing very good over the past 2 weeks. I don't expect anyone to bank on my bets this week, but here are my picks...input would be nice if you care to share.

I am a member of investwithsports.com but they are a little bit slow for me, this board seems awesome and has lots of posters and good info.

I will rate the games from 1-5 stars.

-------------------------------------------------

My big unit play tomorrow is

New York Jets - 8.0 *****

It doesn't take a very smart person to see this. But the Jets are rolling, they are at home. The Bronco's are struggling, and they are traveling pretty far for this game. Also, Cuttler said that his arm is stronger than Brett Favres, and we all know how well he has done since he said his is stronger than Elways ever was even at his best.........seems to be a pretty easy bet for me. I am very confident.

-------------------------------------------------

Green Bay - 3.0 ****

GB is at home, if you look at how they play against good teams at home, they are solid. I also think that Rodgers wants to redeem himself after his showing on National tv last week.

-------------------------------------------------

Baltimore - 7.5 ***

Cinci is bad.....lol. Baltimore has a stud defense. They have been playing well, while we all know how Cinci is struggling. I don't care that they are at home, their stadium will probably be 25% full.

--------------------------------------------------

Buffalo - 6.5 ***

Buffalo looked great last week. It appears that Trent Edwards needed that game to get back on track, and did it with flying colors. The 49ers have been getting wiped up. Buffalo is also still in the thick of the wild card hunt, so they will be playing well. I see them lighting up the 49ers for a lot of points.

-------------------------------------------------

New Orleans at Tampa Bay **
Under + 46.0

The weather is supposed to be TERRIBLE. Calling for a lot of wind and rain. Usually means that the score will be pretty low.

---------------------------------------------------

Good luck to everyone on their bets tomorrow!!!!

You are betting ALL favorites.

Do you think Las Vegas sets these lines so the "public" can just bet favorites and make money?

That's a rhetorical question.

Yeah and all those "squares" who have been cashing in this year

Even if he did take all favorites, dont some of them have to win? Or should i just take all the dogs>?

Well, to respond to your flip remarks, no he should not take all dogs as well.

Yes, some of the favorites will cover. Don't you think there should be a mix of favorites and dogs?

I am only trying to help, not flame.

Good luck.

First of all welcome aboard, its always nice to have a new set of eyes and insights.

Be careful with weather predictions. TB is going to be a balmy 75, with a 40% chance of showers and minimal wind, 5-10 mph. We've all seen weather in the last few weeks that was much worse.

I like Bal and Buf. GB's lack of run def will get exposed, and its a rough game for GB match up wise.

Last, the jets. Reasonable spot for a letdown, 1 week after facing unbeaten Ten and winning by 3 td. Someone on the board is tracking what happens 1 week after winning by 17+ and losing by 17+. Good teams tend to bounce back after large losses and can be guilty of easing up after a lopsided win.
Jets are clearly the better team, but the betting here is very close. 52% on the Jets.

The jets have a 1 game lead, and their remaining games are against 5 teams with a combined 23-33 record. This is a Den team that was spanked last week by 3-8 Oak. My guess is this will be a relatively sloppy game with lots of to's. Might even be a last team to score wins. Bottom line (for me) I like the jets to win, by less than 9. The spread has jumped a full point in the last day.
