Not a good situation but I'll just put it this way. When you have a stroke obviously depending on the severity you can damn well loose track of reality. They drug you up with pain meds on top of the stroke issue b/c usually there is some pain issues in your head. Definitely clouding judgement (could be why BAS came in and decided to post about GB and not taking care of what should have been). Having another one after that would be icing on the cake.

I understand posters being upset and wanting to be paid but you have your normal assholes making negative ass comments who have no idea what a person/family actually goes through when unfortunate health issues arise such as this.

I had a family member lose his company when he had a stroke. He forgot his bills that were to be paid, taxes, etc. It took a while for them to even realize what they weren't taking care of. He couldn't even use a phone.

Hopefully you all get paid but a few of you should definitely tone down on the negativity. You have no idea what a stroke victim goes through.

Definitely some posters who jumped the gun but I suppose can be given some slack because they have no idea the mental or physical state of a stroke victim.

To that point there were definitely some pricks who said some shitty things that shouldn't be forgot.

At the end of the day all you have is your health. Don't know you Mike but rest up and take it easy and eat healthy. Recovery will be better

I have no dog in this fight (money owed), but BAS has went out of the way for me before on NON CONTEST related type shit...then when I placed 2nd in the college contest here last year...I was paid out fast(pretty sure it was within days of contest end) and communication was A+. like many others, I'm not owed any money but been a long time member of the forum and never heard of an issue with BAS before. When I heard he had a stroke I was hoping for the best for him because I actually just lost a friend after he suffered a stroke and his body couldn't keep going. Now him being able to "post" is good, wish you a speedy recovery BAS! GET WELL!
